Less than 5% of bovine methane emissions comes from the anus with the majority of those emissions originating in the deterioration of the actual feces. So let's generously say 2% escapes as gas. So if fartboy wants to obsess about "cow farts" I just said AGAIN that a very small percentage of methane escapes as gas.
