Sochan learning early that a garden variety bruise you get in every game- means weeks of missing games under pop

19 fucking yrs old and they cannot absorb a fucking bruise on their knee?

Guaranteed L tonight, but will probably have to sit some more guys for the biggest matchup of the season so far, Rockets on Wednesday.
That L is a must.

Spurs race out to a lead.
Phoenix comes back, Keldon makes a basket to stop the bleeding and the Spurs call a TO.
To tell them they're not tanking right?
Lol.

I normally watch the 1st half, then they give it away on the 2nd half

Nice to see the return of Post-Up KJ tonight. If you’re shot isn’t dropping, great way to generate high % looks consistently.

I like Malaki keep getting comfortable out there, building confidence, likewise Langford.

Seeing these half-court shot highlights at the half got me thinking… NBA should have the bottom four teams pick their #1 season ticket holders who compete at the end of the year for the “half-court Wemby-off”….
Would be even funnier if the Spurs somehow won that and decide to draft somebody else instead :lol

Wemby gonna bulk up real fast with all the heavy lifting he's gonna have to do with this bunch.

I like what I'm seeing today, I think we can get that L. Gotta be careful early on, don't want any leads.

This is going to destroy our current players.
This can't keep up. Not at this rate. Not at this level.

Some pride has to well up and some smart play has to show up for this team to not just give in and die.

And we can't have these developmental players give in and die for a potential Scoot Henderson.

Can't wait until Blake comes back. All three rookies should be playing 30 MPG during the second half of the season. Branham should be playing 30 minutes now theres nothing to lose.

While destroying trade value of our own players?
While developing that 76'ers midset which has worked so well?

I don't get it.

You can lose, but losing like this?

They normally play good the 1st half even getting big leads. I think that’s enough to see what they’re looking for, and then give up the game

All worth it if you land a player like wemby. It’s not even a question. Besides, what you’re seeing is years of mismanaging come to fruition. This season isn’t the result of just one bad offseason.

What was you expecting? You tank, you suck... Team ain't gonna go like, "OK, we're gonna make it a game untul up the last two minutes, then fuck it up."

It's a whole tanking environment that spread all over the players who understand what they're in for... Spurs ai'nt gonna trade their youngsters next summer anyway who wlll have opportunity to eventually develop and raise their walue the next few years...

You can't half tank your way to a top 3 pick... there's competition. Never been a tank adept but if you take that path, might as well go all iin for Vic.

Yeah, but being down by nearly 30 multiple times?
I get it.
I do.

But the demorilization is not conducive for the team's growth.

Maybe that means nothing.
I don't know.

when you trade away your best player for future assests and hord cap space this is what you get. Just keep trying to develop the young guys and hope for the best. There's going to be alot more losing until spurs land a franchise player

How ugly is that Rockets game going to be?

Probably unimpeded scoring by both teams through three quarters followed by 12 points and 15 turnovers by each team in the 4th.

I do most of the time, and I’m in France so that means waking up in the middle of the night. Thankfully yesterday’s game was at 10pm here in France.

that's a possibility for the younger guys.... First few years are obviously important for newbies in the NBA and spending them in a negative environment isn't optimal for their growth. You always progress and learn better in victory and positive vibes...

The vets take it more professionnaly I guess, waiting for better day here or somewhere else and just cashing their checks.

Then there's the franchise overall vibe and dynamics that also take a big hit. It's really hard for long time spurs fan who have experience the Twin Towers, then the big 3, to witness that mess, that's for sure...From the league golden standard to just another tanking team...

Maybe could have been different if Nephew had some of the BIg 3 genes. Oh well, if it transforms into victor...
