Miami letting us hand around in this. Hopefully they'll get their act together in the 2nd half.

Heat is the definition of a team that should've blown it up, but are hopelessly trying to compete.
What's their plan?

All the Ls aside, our guys are improving. By the end of the season, tank will have to be even more blatant.

Vassell hits two incredible shots and Spurs are going to try to force feed Keldon and turn it over lmao

heyheymymy

Zollins covering Bam well defensively there and thanks to Tre and his speed burst Spurs came away with it

Teams are now colluding against the Spurs to ruin their draft position. Go figure. Probably organized by the great Adam SLiver.

I'm sorry but this nigga Tre Jones sucks and should just barely maybe be in the league.

He plays guard but can't move at a medium speed with the ball in his hands.

The Spurs messed around and let an L get away from them.

heyheymymy
12-10-2022, 07:29 PM
lol did Spurs just need 2 timeouts to inbound the ball?

LeBowen

Fucking Heat.

lefty20
12-10-2022, 07:32 PM
Did everything humanly possible to give this game away and the Heat wanted no part of it.

Wtf are you doing Bam? An absolute dumbass

heyheymymy
12-10-2022, 07:33 PM

james evans
12-10-2022, 07:33 PM
shit!!! I was hoping for a Heat win. Any other season, a team would have hit that 3. Most of us want to tank and now we're not losing all we should.

LeBowen

Modern NBA for you. 7 footer alone right under the rim, kicks it out for 3.

Heat with a look to win, a rebound and a second even better look to win - nothing

SPURt

The Heat choked that away, ugly loss for them. It’s fun seeing Bassey and Langford turn into role players. I thought they were just warm bodies originally. Langford really bringing a lot out there.

heyheymymy
12-10-2022, 07:35 PM
Spurs hovering low enough in the standings to maintain that 14%, even while winning up a bit. It's still early, plenty of time to plummet more later

Yeah, they both have potential to be solid rotation players.
JRich should go asap.

Man Lang is really putting it all together here

also very solid game from Zach Collins. Did the concussion knock some skills online or something?

On a good note, some really nice shots from Vassell there at the end.

Explain to me how were tanking

Spurs Homer
12-10-2022, 07:47 PM
Tanking is so confusing!

Spurs get calls in the fourth qtr to go their way- yes! No wait- fuck!

collins playing his heart out gets called for a bogus flop by flopper lowry- fuck! - no wait - yesss!

spurs win! - uh… ?

We'll end up bottom 3 in the standings then We'll see how the ping pong balls go...

No Spurs No! I didn't really care for the tank but when u hit bottom of the league there's no point messing it up now. Tre really did jump out gym on that rebound over the bigs n shut up "Tim Duncan fan"

Win moves spurs to 5th worse record in the League

Mr. Body
12-10-2022, 08:33 PM
It's not really reasonable to expect the Spurs to lose more games than Houston, Orlando, or Detroit lose. The rest is up in the air. People should be more happy that teams like Portland and Sacramento have moved comfortably out of high lottery contention.

maybe in the western conference

In the league.... we're 2 and 8 in our last 10 which is worse (or better depending on your view) than any of the other bottom 5... we have a worse point differential etc.... it's inevitable that we end up in the bottom 3...

This. We can't out tank those 3 teams. I would be happy with a top 4 pick. My fear is competing with Charlotte for that 4th spot. Hoping Lamelo Ball comes back soon.

Heat had their chances, but Spurs didn't give it away.

2 halves of rather consistent bball.

Agreed. If they really want to tank they need to trade McBuckets. That dude puts in game changing buckets.

Yup
besides history tells us the worst team hardly ever wins the lottery so being 2nd or 3rd worst team would be good tbh

Ed Helicopter Jones

Yeah, even in both of the years we won the lottery we didn't have the worst record.
