It's difficult to out-tank the Rockets. They just need to play their regular rotation, tbh.

Thanks for the grades.
Rockets are so bad. It's not even tanking, they just play horrible basketball. Spurs tried their best, they sat two impactful vets, they played lineups with 4 non shooters, they play a PF at PG but you can't tell them to miss shots on purpose.

Rockets can't even handle basic cuts. It tears their defense apart.

Rockets outtanked the Spurs. Easily they could’ve played Sengun more who was bullying soft Poeltl. Instead they pulled him and played him 24 minutes. Poeltl is freakin soft :pctoss

Devin is getting closer to being a dangerous scorer.
Stanley Johnson is bigger than I thought. His vision was a surprise.
Malaki is settling in, no longer looking scared. Once he realizes he can score in this league -- and he's realizing already -- look out.

Blake has problems with three-pointers since his return.

Didn't Malaki start out slow in college?
Granted very different level

He probably meant Wesley Snipes in Coming to America 2, showing on Hulu.

It seems obvious that I was referring to his performance for Austin.

Remembering that he was a freshman, he didn't breakout until game 13, so more than a third of the way through the season. And it wasn't until the last eleven games that he was scoring double figures every game. A long time ago, I put together how much his shooting percentages started hooking upward throughout the year. Here's hoping he's on the same trajectory. The last two games have looked very different.

Agree totally. Nice to see Devin and Malaki making real progress. For a 15th guy, Stanley Johnson sure seems more valuable than the other Johnson we let go.
i have no idea of anyone with that rockets organization has a clue. that team has a lot of athletes, few of which know how to actually play winning basketball.

At some point down the road, they will be letting some of those guys go either by trade or cuts. Might be a reclamation project amongst them.

That IS an obvious observation in a grades thread from the night before.
Me likey the spin.

OK. From now on, I will create a thread for every short post.
No problem.

It's sad to think that the rockets could be rewarded the number one pick.

If you get a top 3 pick in consecutive years, you should be barred from getting it the next one.
Also, Jalen Green and Jabari Smith were both number 2 picks, is that right? Ouch.
