Quick turnaround on the B2B...game wrapped up around 9:30PM last night and the boys are set to suit up again at 5PM today :sleep

Let's get this tank back on track! :downspin:

Adam Silver doing his buds Boston a favor by not giving the lethal Spurs any time off after slaughtering the streaking Pistons.

This is Lang's time to shine. Huge swath of mins opened up for him with Dev out on knee issues. Did well with the focus last night but that's DET. Will be an interesting test here but I've liked the progress with Romeo so far. Crazy to think he was just a throw in on the deal that keeps giving With JR, Blake and now Lang. Not to mention that looming 2028 first-round pick swap top-1 protected.

All for White? Hell of a deal by Spurs front office.

Spurs playing uglier than ugly and still only trail by 11. That Robert Williams block/dunk and J Rich fast break was not great, ick. Sean was talking about who Branham reminds him of, that’s a tough one. I tend to think he looks like a smaller Rudy Gay to me.

The Celtics are kind of mailing it in. Shouldn't have even bothered scheduling this one, plus the refs are pushing them along to help.

Branham has some Richard Hamilton to him, from the old Pistons, although their builds are different. Some of the same curls and way they attack the middle.

I have a feeling this Branham guy can be just about anything we want him to be.

He's kind of cautious which may lead him to reveal himself slowly.

But that same quality will make him consistent, possibly even great, in the end and it will also be the quality that causes him to stay here once he gets good.

Loved JRich and Romeo crossing in front of Tatum at the FT line, and then JRich walking behind him, and shit talking.
He's reaching Kirby Bryant levels of whining and pining for undeserved FTs.
Tatums idol you know.

Agree great to see someone in the association talk up to these whiny divas.
Say what one will about Pat Bev, but buy that guy a beer for getting in Currys face in the past Clippers - Warrior playoff series.
I cannot believe the pussified players put up with his 'put you to sleep' gesture.

And it did entail some element of risk. The TOR pick was protected, meaning it could have ended up being Thad + a high 2nd for a couple of future seconds (though it did eventually convey). I recall there were periods where it wasn't completely a shoe-in that TOR would escape the play-in (they ended up 4 games ahead of the play-in, and only 5 games back of the 1 seed. Tight eastern conference last year).

https://www.tankathon.com/full_draft

Huh, hadn't really looked at the teams in the 20-30 range. Basically, all the top teams have traded away their first round picks this year. Everyone who would do such a thing (this year) are pretty tapped out. I still think there's a market for Bojan Bogdanovic, Eric Gordon, and maybe our two Richardson and McDougie, but future picks might have to be the thing.

Good point. Toronto kept Thad for this year. They drafted Koloko, who looks promising, although more down the line. I think the Spurs certainly 'won' the trade since, well, I like Wesley, although...

Wait, it was for Branham. Yeah, I'd say that was a good positive for the Spurs. Branham is already contributing and showing a couple superior skills, though he has a ways to go.

Glad we got it last year, or, with their crash and burn this year, it would have become two seconds. Usually, you get three cracks at a FRP.
