Fernando Santos will reportedly be joined by two Polish coaches.


Per 'Meczyki', Łukasz Piszczek & Tomasz Kaczmarek will join the Portuguese as assistant coaches on the Poland national team.


Piszczek is to get his coaching license next month.


Tomasz Kaczmarek, one of the best young Polish coaches, last managed Lechia Gdańsk in the Ekstraklasa.


He ended the 2021/22 season earning Lechia a place in Europe.


Kaczmarek was also previously an assistant coach for the Egypt national team under Bob Bradley.

Omg, Polska has had disastrous managers who all play a crazy defensive style way and they got one of the most defensive managers in existence. Why not just give Kaczmarek the position? Can't be worse than applying Einstein's definition of insanity over and over again...

Fair question but Kaczmarek is only 38. It is an easy qualifying group so maybe this was an opportunity to go aggressive.

Fan reaction is satisfied. Funny because many of these types were complaining bout our defensive style in the WC. Overall I think everyone is happy to see Mich gone.

Big name coach. Portuguese fans seem to have a subpar opinion of him but Greeks liked.
