Graham can be a good trade asset summer after this one, right, because he's not due his entire contract?

Bombs Away with Graham! Could be something to watch, at least, in a casual way.

The only thing I see against him is that his turnover rate looks awfully low. We’ll have to get those turnover numbers up to where we need them.

this time next year he'd be seen as a quasi-expiring contract at worst (since he has a couple million guaranteed for 24-25)

if he ends up playing real minutes for the spurs and starts flashing more like the way he used to play, he might generate interest as a player in addition to just a movable contract. not holding my breath, but he'll have his chances

Devonte Graham: Only $2,850,000 guaranteed in 2024/25, HoopsHype has learned. His contract becomes fully guaranteed if not waived by July 1, 2024.
Basically he'll be appealing by next trade deadline already, because whomever gets him can simply let the 23/24 season end and then waive him, at the cost of only $2.8M in 24/25 (vet minimum like number).

I still can't believe the Spurs wound up with seven second round picks at the end of the week.

The first round pick I somewhat expected. I never in a million years could have guessed they'd get seven SRPs. Seven. What the hell happened this week.

:lol Paying homage to the four second round picks it took for the Spurs to take on his contract?

Devonte Graham will be suspended for two games for a DWI in Summer of 2022.

It’s a loooong wait till basketball starts…:wakeup

That was before he was a Spur, but ugh. I think he had a real shot at the rotation this year. He still does, obviously, but I think he may not get it in camp given that he won't be able to do it opening night.

I doubt this caught the Spurs by surprise or will will have any bearing on his projected role.

Of course, full rosters are rarely available in today's NBA, so even those in line for spot minutes (as I suspect he is) are still likely to see significant minutes throughout the season.
