Lots of spurs ties in this one, including Pau and our top rival for a decade.

Coaches are different, he was eligible years ago but reject and said he will only accept after the big 3 got in.

Different for coaches, since they can coach so long. He’s probably been eligible since around the 2007 championship, but declined every year. Some think it’s because he’s retiring, but my personal thought is that he didn’t want to precede any of the Big Three into the Hall. Tony is the last one, and they’ll go in together.

You think Tony is a first ballot shoe-in though? He doesn't have Manu's international resume though his NBA resume is better.

I'm honestly a little surprised Tony is being listed behind Pau in major media articles. This may be the silver & black tinted glasses, but TP is more of a first ballot shoe in than Gasol, IMO.

I agree, but Gasol has a better international resume with his two Olympic silver medals whereas Tony never led France to an Olympic medal.

I have vague premonitions that they will find a way to make Pau's retirement about Kobe.
