Was at the game since I had 3 dollars to spare. Homeless man gave me his tickets. And I will say a troubling thing to see was that Keldon has zero idea how to play basketball. I understand team tank but man KJ looks like he is the captain of it all. He is so desperate for a win that he is rushing everything and not letting the game come to him. He never runs back on defense and I lost track of how many times his man beat him back for an easy dunk.

Side note is Vassell looks very good. He could be a very solid player for us one day. If he improves his dribbling he could be a CJ type of player for us in the sense that he can play on all 3 facets offensively.

Also man I didn’t even know half the guys that were on the floor most of the time lol. Pop truly is the GOAT

He’s become quite the tank commander. He’s a high usage tweener who can’t guard a single position. It’s troubling how often he gets caught looking as his man or someone he could help defend scores and he doesn’t even think to box out.

He truly does not have a natural position. Height of a 2 but too slow to guard other guards and wings, too short to guard 4s.

5 days ago I got some flak for writing this:

In this throw away season, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Houston beats the spurs in the next two games they play. Still say that the spurs won't even reach 20 wins this season, which should net them the 3rd worst record at the very least.

The spurs with their talent are trying to tank, the rockets with their talent are trying to win but can't. In a contest between these two teams, its hard to tell who is actually worse.

I'm not a spurs homer, I call them as I see them, even if the outcome isn't all that great. If we get Wemby or Scoot then the tanking worked, great. If we don't well there's always the next draft and hope we don't become lottery lackeys for the next several years.

Go ahead and check, I was right about the Houston games ( just common sense given the situation) but it just doesn't feel all that great.
