I partially agree with that. I think his style of play relies on guys having experience and the one-and-done nature of Texas' best recruits kept setting him back. Also the expectation are higher at Texas and the grind of a Big XII schedule makes havoc style basketball less effective over the course of a season... maybe. :lol

Tennessee has a fantastic defense. But they can shoot very poorly if a team is able to handle them on the inside. Vols can get very out of synch on offense. I just don’t know which game. It can happen with bad teams. If Tennessee hits 3s and plays D they are as good as any team. Better than UT for sure because we don’t have the talent on defense Tennessee does. We would get killed by Tennessee shooting like we did against Penn St. imo.

My point is that Disu can give you that easy basket when the offense gets clogged. And it will happen. It already has. If we were to play Kansas St, a team that has a real PG and a real front line it is a tremendous disadvantage not to have Disu imo. Is Kansas St the best team out there left?

Xavier had a horribly tough time against our physical play. Their big guy missed a ton of easy shots and then just legitimately wore down from the pushing. Won’t happen with K State. And imo UConn is better. Imo our chances have diminished if Disu is done.

Gotta add I know very little about Miami. I just hope they are Xavier level.
