Not that the party openly roots for the insurgency, but that they give the terrorist insurgency a platform and some respect. And that is viewed as anathema by the american public who sees terrorist on a machivelian view like the Republicans.(Oh yes, they do pick up the subtleties when the hear the way your side complains about torture, politcal war terms, and constitutional priveleges to terrorist.)THey the DNC, view the insurgents as misled good citizens who are only desperate after seeing an imperialist power take hold of their region. To the democrat party, there is no evil in the world but Republicans and corporate CEO's. Yeah, it might make for an excellent bumpersticker, but it does not help your side convince the american public that we should trust in the DEmocrat brand. The vast majority do see evil in both Republican's, but in Democrats alike. But nothing like that in comparison to the Nazi death camps, Jeffrey Dahmer, or to the evil that struck the towers that September morning. ANd if your here speaking cavalierly of how the Republican's are worse than the terrorist, you won't be taken seriously. Not that you do, but your brethren partake in that attitude without having to mutter a word. They see your cynicism and deranged hatred of Bush as worse than the hatred you should have reserved for those who seek your conversion and destruction to Islamofascism.

Even though you have convinced the american people that Bush has screwed up the war effort and that the war is going sour, you have not sold your idealogy to them. You have basically sold them the appliance but couldn't sell the protection agreement. And that's what you need if you are to expect american society to buy into your thought and philosopy and platform to secure peace of mind for your view.

The fact of the matter is, that even though America disaproves of GW and the GOP, they have not come in droves over to the democrat party. THe approval ratings for democrats are even lower. And even though all this negative news of Iraq should solidify a guarantee victory for the Dems, it hasn't even done that. You want to know why america is so split up right now and seems to have no vision? It's because even through the GOP's errors, the democrats have not convinced anyone outside of the DNC that democrats support america as a superpower, as a victor in war, as a bastion of democracy. PEople in america want the best things in life, and that includes security in knowing that one lives in the best and brightest country in the world. When your presidential nominee states that he needs approval from other countries for support to defend our freedom, the american public sees your party as one that places other countries and bodies more important than ourselves. To the american public, the DNC cares more about safeguarding their image, than safeguarding its people. ANd that my freind is sad.

Everyone knows nowadays that the only way the democrats prosper is through defeat of the american spirit and war. The public has picked up on the DNC ulterior motives in rooting for a defeat in Iraq. The american public sees your parties efforts to stymie american military efforts in gathering info as your party being neutral to the war outcome when you should be pro otherwise. So as far as we know, Staying Neutral towards both sides, and coming off as oppurtunist in the most shameful ways will not help you win in 06 and 08. It's better that you stay quiet, and just reflect on why you think the way you do. I do that myself, and at times i come away feeling weaker of my stance on some issues, but as an incentive. It will help you refine your argument and will let you know why, you believe that way from the heart, rather than from your reflexes.
