Or maybe Rodman was benched in Game 2 of the 95 WCF because he was jacking up wild threes in the first quarter of a must win game. JFC how are they going to do a video focusing so much on this series and not even watch the games?

Their Kawhi beef segment was shit too. It had so many inaccuracies in it.

Lots of talk back then Rodman was intentionally trying to throw the game because of gambling debts and being broke? Anybody know anything about that?

Was this written by Rodman’s publicist? LOL, this was terrible.

i remember there being some talk he played like that cause he wanted to get traded, but it wouldn't shock me at all if this was close to true.

It's perverse how Rodman gets such benefit of the doubt because he was on that Bulls team. He pulled the same kind of team cancer and stat padding crap again on the Lakers and Mavericks but people want to blame the Spurs for this shit he pulled here. I remember Shaq begging Jerry West to get him Rodman in 99 and Rodman shit all over O'Neal just like he did David. Only person in the basketball media who seems to call Rodman out on his selfishness and statpadding is Bill Simmons.

Hated Rodman during his time here. One of my least favorite players. I call bullshit on this piece.

Just wait until all of this AI and ChatGPT shit continues to expand. At this point, even audio and video can't be trusted.
As for Rodman, he'd be a nobody if he hadn't teamed up with Jordan and Pippen.
It also is ironic that Pop now has Sochan doing the crazy hair thing and acting like a typical 19 year old, and he seems to have embraced it. Probably because Jeremy isn't a huge headache off the court.

That's exactly it. I don't thing Jeremy really knows who Rodman was.

Quick Take
We traded Sean to Get Rodman in turn ....We Got Sean Back
I really liked Rodman on the Spurs I hated the fucken soft label of the 1990's when punk ass Karl Malone and the Jazz owned our asses those years...I really liked Rodmans Intensity....Many fans hated Rodman because of the trade
Dennis was Dennis eventually...I think totally believe we would have won the title in 1995 IF Hill and Pop weren't such dicks....when he got traded and won 3 Chips with the Bulls that pissed me off as a fan back then....our team needed that edge....thank god for Mario Ellie in 1999!

I remember Rodman sitting on the logo on the Mavericks court because just decided he was done one time. Dude was a cancer where ever he landed.
He wouldn't be in the HOF if he hadn't been on those Bulls teams. His main skill was rebounding. He played decent on-man defense, but he'd do stupid cheat off impromptu double teams that would disrupt anything a coach had drawn up. And he was ignored when on offense, and really was a pioneering prima donna where players think they're bigger than the teams, their coaches and their fellow teammates. He would make someone like Kyrie look like a team player.

Not just off the court but on the court too.
Other than the hair color and Jersey Number- no similarities.

I would say Pop has tolerated Sochan's hair and the way he acts because he's nothing like Rodman outside of the hair. His personality is different, and he is willing to listen and work hard for Pop.

During his first years as a pro Rodman was a pretty normal guy - well, except for that dumb comment on deadbeat father Larry Bird lol

He was a different player on the Pistons. Too bad he saw Demolition Man and overly embraced Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs right before he arrived in San Antonio.

He showed some nasty downside even in Detroit with the whole "sitting in his pickup in the parking lot with a loaded rifle barrel in his mouth" episode. When people ask "why do we pass on talent when they just don't fit our culture?"...this is why.

Pretty sure that episode in truck was after the season before he came to SA. Regardless, his personality and outlook changed when he arrived here.

He fell off the deep end without chuck daly. Phil Jackson let him do whatever he wanted because bulls can afford it.
Say what you want about KFC but he is an expert ego massager. He’s the best millionaire babysitter the league has ever seen.

Rodman's definitely been jumping on the "Hey guys!! Let's all hate on the Spurs!! HAHAHAHAHAHA" bandwagon the last several years or so. He needs to stick to doing things that he seems to have a knack for like sympathizing with genociders and tucking in his junk.
