Avery Anyone?

What about Avery Johnson as the Spurs Coach after Pop retires. He's grounded in the Spurs culture, a proven coach who took Dallas to the Finals in 2005-06, and he's a strong leader of men. Sounds like a "the man" to me. whatta you think?

Avery gets on people's nerves as a coach. Hell, he got on the team's nerves as a player. I get a strong sense that people like him as a person, but in competetive environments he's unbearable. There's a reason he hasn't coached again.
