Yes, he will. Victor and his camp want it that way, and it's the most sensible approach by far. Victor will want to play as much as his body and his team of specialists dictate that he should, and Pop will be fully on board with that. The goal should always be for him to have a very long and healthy career and to be available for the playoffs. If that means missing games or playing limited minutes throughout his entire career, it's a small price to pay.

Totally agree I see the Spurs being very careful with him his first year he needs to get stronger and he needs to very carefully add weight. He is making a huge jump coming to a new league a new country gonna take sometime to figure things out.

To some degree, yes. The season is long, he needs to strengthen up, and we need to make sure he can be there long-term.
