The Spurs jerseys are one of the best around, no. Way to much history and cachet associated with the base jerseys.

They will 100% continue to pump out a million different alternates to cash in on Wemby jersey sales though, for sure.

Sivler & black is classic, timeless and fits SA, low key franchise and "culture"... No eccentricities, expect for a few occasions and Rodman or Sochan hair color... I'm sure that plays in the way opponents were perceiving the "executing", no drama spurs back in the days.

Agreed. Easily the best alternates we’ve ever had outside of the Classic Edition uni’s we started wearing again this season. Shame we only had em for one year tbh. Should bring these back permanently, even if it’s only for 3-4 games a season.

I love the black and silver. I think the spurs should go all black Jerseys with silver accent like back in the day. Bring toughness back. Hell, even Brooklyn adopted a form of this combination. When the Spurs adopted the B&S after moving from Dallas, only SA and the Raiders had those colors, or any black in their uniforms at all. Now, almost every team has some sort of black alt uni.

I'm a military veteran. Love the "Military City, USA" prestige of San Antonio. But the camo kits for the Spurs have always been mid. At best.

Remember after the 2002 season we moved into the SBC Center and ditched the Fiesta color scheme. At that time, everyone had long been done with 90s pastel color schemes.

When I was a kid, the Spurs wore white at home, black on the road, and the paint in the arena was red. I wish all the teams had stuck with white at home and color on the road. I can’t even tell what teams are playing half the time anymore.

Other than that the defaults are classic.

And with the four or five alts each team wears it’s a moot point today. Nike has teams wearing white and away colors in totally random ways. The old white at home and dark on road was preferable.

There is a big difference is that the Cavs had no title, very little history before LeBron... This is not the case with the Spurs, who are top 5 champion teams. Like Boston, Chicago, it's almost impossible to change the main jersey...

Spurs jersey was best from November 2002 to like 2017. Ever since then it's been garbage, along with every other team's.

Silver and black for life, maybe 2-3 games per year with the classic San Antonio jerseys and another 2-3 with the red Chaparrals is okay ...but no more than that. Also, they need to stick to white at home and black away, like the good days.
