Really good game by Mets92 so far. Good coaching adjustments, more poise and good use of Wemby as a defensive ace and a post threat, which has unlocked his passing ability. But they don't have consistent shooters unlike Monaco and that could be their downfall. Still, a fighting game by Mets92.

No it doesn’t. The offense still looks clunky and discombobulated at times, especially with the Mets not being a good 3-point shooting team. But they’re playing harder today than they have the past 2 games. Been much better defensively, in large part thanks to Wemby’s interior D. We’ll see if they can continue shooting at a high percentage in the second half. A lot of their shots were at the rim or in the paint in the first half. I think Monaco will tighten that up this half and Mets will have to hit some outside shots if they want to steal this one.

“Trash” is a little harsh, but yea, been saying it for 3 weeks now: He’s extremely overrated right now simply due to the fact that he plays with Wemby.

He’s only 18 and he’s a great athlete with good size, and he’s shown some flashes of nice passing and finishing easy dunks, but that’s about it. He’s not a great shooter right now despite his inflated averages on low volume, and he’s not a playmaker (yet). He is a young project as far as I’m concerned. He can likely carve out a nice 3&D role at the next level at minimum if he improves on his 3, which I think he will, but I don’t see a star player who’s worth taking in the lottery. It’s just not there right now. Would be a huge gamble to take him that high when there’s much better talent available imo.

Especially he has his hands down on defense, he could alter or block more shots if he keep active hands…
