It would, but I don't think that's his skill set. Someone mentioned after he was drafted that he could play PG and I was like, "Are you serious??" Like, the way we say anyone who can dribble can play point.
Looking into him, though, it really does seem like he has a lot of creation ability. He may eventually initiate offenses.

2 most popular guys on the team tbh. Outside of Wemby of course. Those 2 seem to be the most engrained with the team and the city of any of our players. That’s why I don’t think Keldon is going anywhere for a while unless it’s for a star player or his play drops off a cliff.

My initial thought watching Sidy’s tape was that he’s a better-passing Grant Williams. Similar size at 6’6-6’7, both big, strong bodies on the wing. Neither are great 3-point shooters. Grant’s a little stronger right now, but that’s just cause he’s 5 years older. Sidy will get there. But I think Sidy’s got more potential than Grant. He’s a little more athletic and like I mentioned, a better passer than Williams has ever been. He needs to work on that 3-Point shot, but if that develops, he can be a rotation piece tbh. We’ll see how he looks in Austin and in some of his game time this year.

I saw the clip of Sean talking to Ciddy on the riverwalk. I found it interesting because Ciddy looked as tall as Sean in that clip. I wonder if Sean has shrunk by 2 inches over the years or if Ciddy is actually 6'9.

In that pic with all four players, Sidy looks a few inches shorter than Sochan and maybe even a bit shorter than Keldon. But judging players' heights by pictures is a meme around here for a reason so there's no reason to not just wait for official measurements.
If Poeltl does come back to SA he will need a different jersey number.

I think they like that he can defend and pass, rim run and occassional 3 pt shooting. He grew up playing PG.
I can see him playing point-forward at times like Stanley Johnson did before he asked to be waived. Sidy can back-up Sochan at times like Stanley did, and defend the best player even ultimately. He’s Sochan 2.0

true, but in today's nba, unless you're a center or truly special at something else, a good 3 point shot is almost a necessarily skill to hang around

Looks like a young Marvin Williams body type to me..
He has way more creation abilities than I thought. He won't be purely stuck in the corner for kick outs.
They're honestly still limited and I really don't believe he'lll be able or asked that much to create in the NBA... That's not his forte nor where he'll earn his minutes... Bowen could create and was a scorer in the french league, but that didn't translate into the NBA. He had to focus on defense and 3s to stay in the league...
There's a reason why Sidy felt to the mid second, he's still raw and just not what you would call a skilled or talented player. then I also believe defense is where he'll earn his playing time, and developing a 3 where he'll stay in SA and in the league altogether...
