Obviously he's oft injured, but would you look to take on Brogdon to get us to the 90% salary cap use and some draft capital from Boston?
He would fit in with needs of the team. 2 year rental.

He played through a badly sprained elbow tendon last year, further injuring it, and his recovery period is unknown at this time. LAC vetoed that trade he had been included in for that reason.

I like him when healthy, but just a couple of days ago Clippers refused to get him for the leftovers of the corpse that once was Marcus Morris. Huge red flag, wouldn't touch him.

Understood they nixed the deal because there wasn't time to do a medical evaluation.

If he's damaged goods, we might get a 1st rounder out of him. Why not, tbh?

Sure, sure.
Perhaps it took that long for the Clippers doctor to write everything down in his discharge summary.

When the Clippers of all teams veto a trade due to medical you run the other way. They got Number Two and PG13 on that team, they know all about injuries.

I mentioned in another thread that we should go after him. He supposedly is "good to go" for next season, even if he does need to get surgery.
The Clippers wanted more time to evaluate his health condition but were not afforded that because...
"The Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach reported (https://twitter.com/AdamHimmelsbach/status/1671939471216967684). Because Porzingis had until midnight set to pick up his $36 million player option, the teams involved in the trade were operating under a deadline late Wednesday night to get the deal done."

That's what I was thinking, although maybe it's the reverse jinx on Brogdon and he'll be fine while the Clips get stuck with two superstars who can't be healthy when the playoffs roll around.

Doubt Boston wants to trade him now that Smart is gone.

All Boston management wants is some new balls to suck since they fired their former coach

I'd rather target Delon Wright-- same age, same height, much less expensive contract, no expectation of being anything but a role player, good defender, good assist-to-TO ratio, and Washington has too many guards so he's expendable for them at probably not too great a price.

This is exactly why he would be a great target. Would be an upgrade at the point. Take advantage of Boston’s cap situation and get a quality player at a position of need.
