That is all.
The Dem BigDonors ("woke capitalism") is out of control.
Was a horrible decision by Anthony Kennedy and co. when it started.
Soros and Co. should be limited.
Corporations are not people.
***FEC, not SEC. Feel free to <edit>

Hey at least the cheerleaders are finally paying attention, anyone with half a brain always knew it was a terrible decision regardless whose companies are funding who's campaign

It is always fun for corporations to exercise their free speech against lib politicians until it infringes on conservative politicians, then it is time to overturn the ruling. :lol

Overturning Citizens United would do absolutely nothing to limit the donors who presently fund Dem campaigns.
It would limit the Republican politicians who rely on WOKE corporate PAC money to win elections.

Corporations are “woke” because huge investment firms like BlackRock and Vanguard have made clear that ESG influences where they put their money. Citizens United has nothing to do with that. If anything, we’re in an age of small-money donations. Democrats raise money with ActBlue, Republicans grift off shit-eating, cousin-fucking crackers by telling them that trans drag queens are going to rape their kids.

Rewind 50 years and investment firms were basically just the opposite. There just wasn't a catchy acronym for institutional racism. Probably don't have to go back even 30 years.

There's more to it than that. Large corporations, especially tech and entertainment, which dominate our services economy, are chock full of younger kids which are mostly all in on this ESG stuff, and even demand it. Look at what happened with Disney and the "don't say gay" stuff for a good example of this.
This is an inter-generational cultural wedge that politicians recognized and are happy to exploit.
You and Will are correct that Citizen's United won't do shit about this. Mostly because Citizen's United has been a vehicle to hide where the money is coming from, whereas in this case companies are very open about their ESG efforts.

Then the GOP needs to take back the white house, keep the house, flip a few easy senate seats and pass a bill banning ESG. I don't know if Trump would have the balls to go that far as he's more socially moderate and fiscally moderate though politically very right wing. Desantis would, as he is aggressively hard right on both social and political issues, but his campaign has been in the toilet lately.
The reason these young idiots come into the workspace thinking all this globalist, culturally Marxist ESG stuff is good is because of the radical left big money from across the globe funding the radical left college professors/systems, teachers unions and even K-12 school curricula that brainwashes and indoctrinates our poor children to believe this way, often at odds with their own parents and families. That is disgusting and in fact a form of pedophilia, just mental instead of physical sexual assault.
The biggest problem with the world and especially the West is in fact not communism, socialism, theocracy etc but it is Globalism.

The only reason to hate ESG stuff is because evangelicals hate teh gays and cultists were told that 12% of the entire US population, which is black, are about to replace them.
Basically, this is the exact pandering of the current GOP catering to cultist/extremists, which are also largely uneducated people.
It's a losing proposition long-term, and the only reason it's exploited now is to push that wedge with the GOP base.

also, the Repugs and their BigCarbon donors deny AGW, the E part of ESG
A few days ago, a TV weatherman quit after 12 years because the Repug SS harassed him, with death threats after talking about AGW on his forecast.
