I will do one for each player every few days.

Raw ppg has to go down. Not only are we adding Wemby, but Vassell and Sochan will likely play more games in addition to having a bigger role on the offense. His efficiency should shoot up though.

I think PPG goes down somewhat to maybe 17-18ppg but with increased efficiency now that we now have a true go-to option. He’ll get better looks both from beyond the arc and inside the paint. Slight increase in asts, I think.

By “minor improvement” I mean in advanced stats. Raw numbers will go down because his usage will go way down. But he should be more efficient.

No idea, but Keldon will be all-in on doing whatever it takes to win.

I'm going full optimist.

Remember when we used to be able to bet on stuff here?

No longer the #1 option

I think it depends if he stays with the starting lineup or leads off the bench. He’d get less stats in the SL but be more efficient. In he comes off the bench, his stats stay the same

If his stats are the same coming off the bench, that's 6moy territory, yes?

He should come off the bench. I don’t know if he will to start the year but at the end of the year he will be (hopefully). He also has nobody to create for him so idk what you guys are smoking that his efficiency is going to go up. I highly doubt that. He will be taking the exact same shots he was last year.

A couple of problems. One is that we don’t have a good PG to set others up. So that means the only way KJ is going to get open shots is if Wemby is doubled and passes it to KJ. Which brings us to problem 2. We shouldn’t really be relying on Wemby ( a rookie) to get KJ open shots. He won’t be used to double teams from athletes who are as quick and long as the NBA athletes are and is going to turn the ball over alot

I actually think KJ will shoot the same amount of shots and be our leading our team in FGA per game to start the year and we lose a lot. And since nobody is really creating for him, I think his stats are going to be a detriment to the team and eventually Pop will bench him and his stats will then go down significantly.

Not bothered by any counting stats, but I'd hope his eFG% would be above .550. Also to improve his OWS and DWS significantly, as well as get to at least 1.0 VORP.

FG and 3P% should go up, PPG should go down to 18-20 I assume.

It's not that simple. His Ppg will drop but his shooting percentage, defense and over all efficiency should improve.

I came here to basically say the same thing.

I’ll estimate him at around 16ppg next season, with slightly improved efficiency but not expecting a huge jump

Depends if he’s starting or not. If starting with Wemby, his usage will so much less for obvious reasons. If taking the Manu-role, I expect him to get more productive, both for proving himself somewhat and because he would be going against 2nd unit and being the #1 option from the bench. Personally I like him coming off the bench which the Spurs already had success historically with Manu. It’s up to Keldon to buy in to that. He is young and prior to Wemby, was the number one option of the team (face of franchise). I hope he doesn’t see it as a demotion, but a sound strategy for winning.

With that thought, I would vote, significantly improve.

Man...How did KJ become from the most potential to now arguably the 4th or 5th option (behind Wemby, Vassell, Brahham, Sohan).

I remember he was the most youngest player with the most potential and nicknamed big body when DDR and Murray was still running the show. Now suddenly KJ is the oldest at 23 and also the odd one out (whether to put him as starter or 6th man).

Counting stats down, efficiency and shooting up.

I expect slightly lower ppg but higher efficiency.
That counts as a slight improvement in my book.
I also expect everyone’s defensive stats to benefit from Wemby’s influence on that end of the floor.

Yeah, you can basically duplicate this statement for most of the roster and avoid posting a bunch of polls.

That's mostly true, but I think Sochan and Branham are two guys whose potential results fill a broad range for me.
Either one could have a significant improvement in their stats if they combine a breakthrough of some sort with increased minutes.
Both are also guys who might just end up with fewer minutes than they had last year and see their overall impact decrease, even if they're improving as players.
My guess is one of them sees a big step forward in their development, probably Sochan, while Branham continues to show tantalizing and inconsistent scoring ability combined with poor defense.
