People have been talking about these two for a while now. Flagg is 2025 class and Boozer 2026.

Spurs have 2 FRP in 2025, with possibility of 2 more depending on how CHI and TOR picks convey. I don’t factor in the CHA one.

Flagg looks like Bobby Knight (above the neck anyway). Same features, same scowl.

He also plays with the attitude of Grayson Allen.

He's gotta be headed to Duke.

Generational talent is a bit much. Usually that describes a player that has a freak of nature ability that scouts think will translate at the next level. Thinking of the last several, a guy like Shaq at his size and strength or Lebron with his size and ability to play like a guard are examples. Both came into the league able to play in a physical league. David Robinson had unique speed. Tim wasn't overly fast, but he was highly coordinated and skilled for a guy his size. I think you could say the same for a guy like Zion Williamson if he could stay healthy...a guy his size that can play point guard and is an incredible athlete, even while being overweight.

Wemby is called a generational talent because of his length and mobility with skills that guys his size don't have.

The two in the video look like solid players, but I don't know that they stick out in a way that would make me think they were guaranteed superstars.

He's done well in some national compendiums. He's looked good against the top high school talent around.

Have they faced Polk High and scored 4 touchdowns in a high school football game yet?

HS kids are a real crapshoot. Lenny Cooke was supposed to be a generational prospect too, for example. Nick Smith was supposed to be the star of this draft if we went by rankings when these guys were highschoolers.

My bad i thought the video was only about 1 minute long.

Both have potential for sure.

We'll see what happens at the next level.

It’s essentially a HS league, which is why many scoffed at 20 YOs being lauded so highly with that level of comp. Boozer played 2 games against OTE teams and crushed it.

Will be fun to watch. Will like to see if they sustain success for a year at the NCAA/G-League level. They are obviously talented but unquestionably benefiting by playing against inferior athletes at this stage.

im not disagreeing that he appears to be the better prospect. OT Elite has kids up to age 20, so not quite high school. 2 games boozer played were impressive.

Just saw bits of Flagg's highlights. If he does go number 1 would be a first since 1973 with Doug Collins.

I'd be worried about #1's mindset if in year two his team is struggling enough to be in the hunt... but if that's not a concern, Flagg looks like a legit culture fit in SA during coach's last three years

Nah... Bogut and Bargnani went back to back in the mid '00s. One was a complete bust and the other carved out a solid career and got a few rings but as a career starter but role player never a star.

Sorry I slyly threw that out there without underlining its meaning.

Collins was the last white non-bigman to go #1. And to further specify an American white. It would be something to behold if Flagg is the real deal

That will be hard because the West is brutally good. But I doubt the Spurs's own pick will be a top 8.

AJ Dybantsa is an American basketball player who currently attends Prolific Prep. He is rated as the number one player in the 2025 class after reclassifying from the 2026 class.

“It was a big summer,” Dybantsa said. “Just going into different camps and showing why I’m considered one of the best in the country. Anywhere I go, I’m trying to showcase my talents. Working out with the pros was a good experience because people don’t see how they manipulate the game on the court, it’s not just their skillset. It all taught me a lot and I think it’ll elevate my game.”

Another prospect to look at is french guard NolanTraore (17). He was pretty impressive in Nike Hoop Summit (18pt/5ass) with great activity on defense. One of the top guards of his generation.

They're talking 2025 college class, he doesn't turn 19 until 1/29/2026 so he'll have to enter the 2026 NBA draft (for 29 f'ing days).
