Since Harden is on an expiring deal there is a clause in the CBA that allows the Sixers to void the contract and disallow him from signing a new one anywhere else in perpetuity if he pulls a Simmons and doesn't show up. So Harden's either just going to come to camp a fat bastard and then play super lazy in the regular season like he did in Houston and never get another big contract or he'll bust his ass there to try to show he's worth the money he wants on his next contract somewhere else.
