He & Monte Hall were the best of the best. Barker was a bit more cavalier and stern with his contestants as the seasons piled up, but still sustainable for the common man/woman with whom he dealt. Too many girls (they were all over the GD place) It was like a fancy whore house outside Clark County in Nevada vs. LMAD with Hall who just had 1 girl (Carol Merrill) and then 2 later on till the end (Karen) & (Melanie). I watch Hall every week night like clockwork. I'll take another foray into Barker now. It just bothered me no end how he'd get all upset with them when they went to spin that damn wheel. Christ, it made me nervous.

In 1994, a former Price is Right model, Dian Parkinson, sued Barker for sexual harassment. The host claimed what he described as an "affair" was consensual and Parkinson eventually dropped the lawsuit.
