Huh? I like the Skins to win, but it's not much better than a toss-up. Neither team has an NFL caliber quarterback starting at the moment.

As long as Jackson is healthy, this kind of game, particularly at home, should absolutely be the pick, against what will be one of the league's bottom feeders yet again, even though they don't have a first-round pick in 2024.

Sure. Tank for Caleb Williams and give Kyler a full season of recovery before getting some sucker team to take him off their hands for a 1st. Murray might be a Raider come 2024 opener

If Dak does ok, Zeke sees a resurgence with New England this year, but the Cowboys fail to make the conference finals yet again, I could see a scenario where Dak Prescott is a Patriot and Bill Belichick finally gets Jerruh's guys over the hump. :lol Cowboys

Bill Belichick winning a SB ring with the likes of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott being the Pats' offense would forever immortalize BB in legend, tbh.

Yeah, the only team that doesn't is Houston, but Houston has such a shitty roster that it won't matter anyway. Maybe they'll get 2 wins off the Colts if they're lucky.

Yeah, everyone who didn't get a pick in yet can either pick tonight's game before kickoff, or else they have to pick a team tomorrow

Millennial_Messiah
09-10-2023, 07:12 PM
tomorrow's game is a pure coin flip, so, I wouldn't recommend picking from tomorrow

then again, the Giants are no pushovers, and were a solid playoff team last year and even won a road playoff game.

They’ll probably win 1-2 games this year just out of shear luck, but imo this team is far worse than the 2008 Lions or any other team I’ve ever watched as long as I’ve followed football.

These PFF rankings are astoundingly bad

Offensive line - 31st
Running back - 31st
Receiver / TE - 28th
Quarterback - 29th (and that’s before McCoy was cut so it’s prob 32nd now)
Defensive line - 32nd
linebackers - 23rd (and this was before Isaiah Simmons was traded)
Secondary - 29th (also outdated since PFF factored in Simmons’ ability to play corner)

In my ~20 years following football I can’t recall a roster so devoid of talent all over the field. I don’t even understand how an NFL roster gets to be this shitty.

And yet AZ led 16-10 going into the 4th and only trailed 17-16 with the ball driving to mid field before a tanky looking fumble and unsportsmanlike penalty to boot for the seal.

Doesn't say much for WA.

The Rosen pick was awful, but the Murray pick had promise if he didn't turn out to be a complete diva. He was actually a heck of a talent and a better pass thrower than, say, Lamar Jackson. Very strong arm for such a smaller dude. People forget they were undefeated halfway through the season a couple years back. Murray had his day in the sun. Letting the WR corps rot was a big mistake. Murray is the kind of guy who needs big time weapons to succeed. Not necessarily an elite OL because of his scrambling ability and the fact that's he's mostly a west coast offense QB that either gets the ball out quick or is fast enough to escape the pass rush and scramble and find someone deep or intermediate if they get open.

21-3 with the ball on the WA 40 yard line and only 8 minutes til half.
One of the few things that can really phuck up momentum there is a stupid fumble or a pick 6 or the like turnover.
Veteran multi millionaire Russel Wilson fumbles.

So, while you are being heard about their last 19 games, that took a colossal phuck up to blow that lead. Wilsons fumble was the YUGE start of it.
The last 4 minutes of the game was unreal bozo clock management by Payton and Denver.
Altho they got the miracle TD to have a chance.

Rule clarification.
Previously it was ruled as long as one votes before the weeks final game on Monday Night all would be good.

No longer. Reason? The standings are affected by same division and same conference W-L records.
So just to keep it real clean, moving forward all votes must be cast before the Thursday Night game.

True, but a lot of that was attributed to last years Donkey rookie coach including horrific play calling. Also Wilson prima donna arrangements such as his own huge office at Donkey Stadium and his own personal QB coach. Payton said F all that.
Reasoning was that Payton would right the ship.
Indeed Payton went over all tape of previous good plays by Wilson in Seattle and said he would tailor the O to bring back Seattle Wilson and throw in some Drew Brees type plays. Game 1 vs Raiders, while indeed the Broncos lost again they and Wilson looked tons better in defeat. The trend seemed upward.
