Don't you think the NBA owes the Spurs that $250k back plus interest and inflation, which by my math would be well north of a mil in 2023 dollars, from the Miami Heat road game in 2012...

Ya know, muh "substantial sanctions"...

Since that is no longer relevant.

The Clippers are gonna start the season 30-14 and finish 36-46 once Number Two and PG13 have their knees explode.

What is this new rule?

You're not allowed to make inactive more than 1 player who averages at least 24 mpg during any individual regular season game, without a certified medically valid excuse

Then again, I guess technically they can play them until the first dead ball and then bench them the rest of the game. Though, stars wouldn't be happy about that because it would decrease their stats per game drastically for legacy and contract purposes. Idk about all the loophole possibilities but it's a decent try by the NBA

Does it not only apply to recent All-Stars/All-NBA players? Pop can rest his players as often as he likes in that case ...

Yes, defined as one who has been an All-Star or on an All-NBA team in any of the previous three seasons. So for example, Nuggets has one in Jokic.
