Guaranteed Cowboys loss by 7ish. Think it will honestly be just like last years playoff game, maybe a little more high scoring with both teams in the 20s

In the Romo era, this is actually a game Dallas would usually win. The big regular season game in October/November against a real contender was usually their Super Bowl. Team would come out fired up and Romo would be elite for one game. Unfortunately, Cuckott is scary consistent when it comes to sh1tting the bed in these games. He’s never stepped up, ever. Can count on him to shrink in the moment 100% of the time leading to hardcore Cuckottstans to come up with dissertation-long excuses on other pieces that were missing. Pretty easy game to pick tbh imho

if they could've actually reached a conference championship game in the last 25 years then they'd get the benefit of the doubt. But a consistent legacy of choking around the same time every year (Week 17 through Divisional Round) for the last quarter century will do that to you. Dallas has a somewhat lengthy track record of beating Super Bowl contenders in the regular season as underdogs as well, only for it to end the same way in late December/January. Even if they pull this game off, which they won't , it still wont' mean anything to me IMO

Bryce Young going to the NFC and CJ Stroud going to the AFC is going to somehow worsen the already giant delta between QB quality in each conference.

Purdy and Hurts are the only two semi-proven NFC QBs under 30, and neither one is the elite QB who can put an otherwise flawed roster on their back…they’re both closer to being a 2021 Matt Stafford type on a Super Bowl team Imo.

Hurts has an OP offensive line, particularly both tackles and the center. Prescott hasn't had that luxury since his rookie year. Plus, AJ Brown, Devonta Smith and Dallas Goedert are by far a better core top 3 than Ceedee Lamb (okay, Lamb is elite, but...) their next 2 options are... uh, Michael Gallup, and.... um... who? Last year it was TE Dalton Schultz and they didn't even care to re-sign him. Brandin Cooks the new addition is a washed mercenary, injury prone, and never was anything better than a WR3. Stop, Cuckott has had everything from HoFers on the offensive line, elite RB, elite receivers, Witten, elite defense, etc at different points. He had a fully healthy team in 2019 and couldn't even score a TD against Eagles practice squad with the division on the line :lmao

If you don't execute, you just give the other team more chances to execute, resulting in your lack of execution, and when it comes to executing in the football game, the number of times you execute adds up until you eventually get a summation of executions
You need to execute in all 3 areas and if you don’t, you need to look at the tape to know where you didn’t execute.

yeah I've been a believer in him after last season. you don't start off this long being undefeated without being the real deal. Decision making and footwork is elite, the arm strength IMO is not a big deal as offense are getting more and more complex/sophisticated. The 50 yard deep shot is not an efficient play anymore

Sons in college football there's this one school in Lubbock that has the same kind of "is this the year?" pre season that ends in a 7-5 record year after year, coach after coach, QB after QB.

They had a guy who will go down as maybe the greatest NFL QB ever who's best season there was..... 7-5

Ya I’ve always said the Chargers and Cowboys have been almost identical. Only one of them gets hyped up as Super Bowl contenders by the media every year for ratings, while the other nobody gives a sh1t about. Both teams became competitive early 00s-ish and have basically been stuck in that “playoff contender, but not champion contender” tier for essentially 20 years straight. Agreed. Kyle wants these type of QBs. Quick decision get the ball out and blockers going for the YAC.

Jimmy was good, I'm surprised Purdy is even better. Alot of shotgun formation which Jimmy wasn't mobile enough.

I don’t watch TV much at all, so maybe it’s been this way for awhile, but holy he11 sports media has truly become unwatchable. I was at the gym for an hour and a half or so, and not only did they talk about the Cowboys literally the entire time as if no other NFL team existed, every analyst struggled to even form coherent sentences. it’s clear ESPN is just trying to hire as many illiterate Jiggaboos as possible to make it a “BBQ” up there who are trying to make up for their lack of English with their cornball jokes.
