HOUSTON (AP) -- Damon Stoudamire scored 24 points and the Memphis Grizzlies hit a franchise-record 15 3-pointers in their 90-75 victory over the Houston Rockets on Saturday night.

Memphis, which has won five straight games, was 15-of-32 from 3-point range to break the team record of 13 set against Milwaukee last January. Stoudamire was 6-for-7 on 3-pointers and Bobby Jackson went 5-for-8 en route to a season-high 18 points.

The Rockets, who snapped a seven-game losing streak with a win over Atlanta on Wednesday night, have not won consecutive games this season. Yao Ming led Houston with 29 points, including nine in the third quarter.

Memphis took a 16-7 lead midway through the first period, with Tracy McGrady missing his first four shots and Yao going 1-for-4.

Memphis made all six of its first-quarter 3-pointers to take a 34-13 lead.

The Grizzlies didn't miss from beyond the arc until Jackson's attempt with 11:29 left in the second quarter.

Houston shot 29.4 percent the first quarter. McGrady missed his first eight shots, including an uncontested dunk, before hitting a layup with 6:30 left in the first half. Houston was down 39-18 when he hit it.

Boos began to rain down from the crowd as the Rockets shoot poorly and the boos got stronger when 6-foot-8 Shane Battier blocked a shot by the 7-6 Yao.

Memphis finished the half 7-of-13 on 3s and led 47-26.

Battier hit the Grizzlies' first two 3s in the second half and had 10 of their first 11 points as they took a 56-31 lead with 9:09 left in the third.

Both teams went cold in the fourth quarter and neither hit a field goal until McGrady's jumper with 8:09 left. Memphis' first fourth-quarter field goal was a tip-in by Lorenzen Wright with 7:07 to play.

The Rockets used a 9-2 run to cut it to 77-60 with 5:35 remaining.
