About time. Team LeBron vs team whoever was lame as hell. Maybe they'll try to actually win since it isn't just LeBron picking his buddies to play with

doesnt change the selection process, just how they divy up the teams for the game itself

NBA needs these type of rivalries (East v. West) or the sport will get boring.

I like this. Fuckin hate that LeBron team shit. I like the West vs East competition and getting that bragging right, unlike “oh yeah, our LeBron team won!” What’s that? It was so stupid

there isnt really bragging rights since the game itself still will be a joke

Was just another stupid cash grab for the NBA so they could broadcast another "special event" for the draft which was 90% fluff and advertisements. Same thing when they tried to move all the season awards to one show AFTER the Finals finished.

Now if only they could just go back to the old school Slam Dunk contest instead of the abomination it has become. I used to really enjoy All-Star Saturday but it has become painful to watch.

We’re too old for the all star weekend tbh. It’s clearly an event for the kids. Plus it means listening to unfunny celebrities like Kevin Hart and that’s painful enough.

Good. Team USA vs the World would also be entertaining and give players some real motivation. AS weekend has gotten so damn corny though. Pure pop culture.

World v USA would be cool but how would they ensure equal amount of domestic vs foreign players per conference? Theyd have to start picking allstars based on that

It would basically be an exhibition and not really an all-star game. So they would snub out better players for the sake of the format

World has better players. Doncic, SGA, Wemby, Giannis, Jokic as starting line up :lol:lol

The NBA did an amazing job of proving that star players make terrible team managers. Time to move on.

Team USA doesn‘t need more opportunities to embarass themselves
