Thanks for the grades, Timvp.

The Spurs needs a couple more guys at Devin's level. Guys like Osman benefit from having Devin out there drawing attention. I think that's part of why he didn't look as good in this game as he had been.

Too bad Wemby won't have the sort of presence that Timmy was blessed with in having David Robinson line up next to him his first few years in the league. Put some stabilizing vets out there around Victor and this team could make some noise. I'm hoping to see some rabbits pulled out of the hat with our roster.

Congratulations for watching the whole game.

Brutal game, especially on defense.

Wemby looked gassed early.
If he is going to keep moving a lot off-ball then his teammates need to pay that off and find him more so that he will continue to do it.
Last night as the first time this season that Wemby's off-ball movement looked significantly reduced.

Officially time to panic on Champ tbh. He hasn't looked good at all since summer league.

It's really sad how bad our defence is. I'm wasn't expecting this tream to be one of the top defensive teams but then again I wasn't expecting to be near the bottom of the league.

Don't get me started at the the inability to grab a rebound.

not much to panic about. he's an end of the bench flier on a deal with no guarantees beyond this season

was a good low risk contract given his play at the end of last year. if it doesnt work out, no harm no foul

but for those of us who were hoping he'd be a successor to mcdermott as a shooting specialist off the bench, yeah... thats not happening

Agreed with all that. Not panicking in terms of the overall team impact, just flagging that I'm actually not sure he's an NBA player anymore after what I've seen in preseason + RS. Granted it's been limited action but he has looked absolutely terrible during this minutes.

Well it was such a hard game to watch that I didn't make it to garbage time. In the end of the first half, while I'll agree Keldon fought hard, he also was playing 1 on 5. I also felt Wemby was taking questionable shots because either no plays were run for him or his teammates wouldn't get the ball to him in decent spots. I'd have given Wemby a C and the same for our 'hero' Keldon.

i'm getting annoyed by the lack of court awareness on offense.
i don't know how many times ive seen our guys force up a shot when there was a player available for a better shot.
what happened to good to great?

if you check out these highlights, go to minute 3:20 and you'll see johnson receive a pass from jones, johnson attacks the basket and has a wide open collins to his left for an easy layup.
But instead takes it himself and goes right into the defender which results in a miss. and i see this over and over again.

it doesn't take special talent to make the extra pass. It takes awareness and to be mentally active.

KJ has always had that tunnel vision when driving. his assist numbers arent even bad this year, but once he puts his head down, he's still the bull in the china shop. sometimes works out. sometimes not.

Pop C-? I want a regrade!!!

Two 40pts losses in the last 5 games is an F- in any league.

I agree.

I'm having trouble thinking of any other Spur role player who's still 'young' ever have such a promising end of season in either garbage time or tank time, or with a great summer, who collapsed and flushed down the bowl this badly.

Lonnie had a really good Utah summer league after his rookie year I think, but he wasn't this bad when he actually played.

Champagne has been revolting.

I think Champ is happy to have gotten a contract and has lost some motivation. We'll see if it continues.

I thought he was locked in for 3 years fully guaranteed, so going by that, I was thinking his contract is a huge mistake. If it's only guaranteed for this season, then that makes me feel a lot better about it.

Spurs should send Champagnie to Austin for a couple of games to let him get out of his shooting slump and get back his confidence. Wesley should also send be there to work on his game if Pop doesn't plan to use him outside of garbage time. Wesley needs to play to get better.

First back to back, playing at an NBA level.

Neither his or Bassey's contracts are guaranteed beyond this year. VERY team friendly for a couple of players scrapping to stay in the league.

haven't seen the last game, but in spurts this season he looked to me one of the few that actually has defensive potential. Offensively he was forcing hard though and it was not pretty
