In 2009, Sultan Kösen became the first man over 8 ft to be measured by Guinness World Records for more than 20 years.

In fact, Guinness World Records only knows of ten confirmed or reliable cases in history reaching 8 ft or more.

The part-time farmer from Turkey was found to be a towering 246.5 cm (8 ft 1 in) in height and he took the iconic title of Tallest living man.

Two years later, the 26-year-old was measured again in Ankara, Turkey, by which time he had grown to a staggering 251 cm (8 ft 2.8 in).

As a farmer from Turkey, Sultan is very raw and has basically "zero" skills, but his height is un-guardable. Pop and the Spurs organization as a whole believe a bit of training, and conditioning will
place Sultan at center next to Wemby and will have the entire NBA on alert for the real Mega-Towers!!!!

If I had to choose I'd rather go for Brahim Takioullah, who's 8'1" as well and doesn't walk with a cane which promises better mobility. He's also French-Moroccan so easier to work with Wemby.

Due to his limited mobility, the cane offers a defensive tool to knock tha shi000t out of opponents. This is a key piece in defensive schemes and also his limited skillset and player development. The Spurs are taking this into account when they draft.
