They'll have plenty of time to figure it out. Thompson and Whitmore won't get paid until summer 27 and Smith summer 26. Sengun is an obvious max in summer 25. Figure they'll probably pick the team option up on VanVleet in 25 since $45 million might not look too bad then when the cap is going to be getting some major bumps for the next few years thanks to the new TV/streaming deal the NBA will have in 25-26. Only real concern is Jalen Green. They can afford to re-sign him for 25-26 and 26-27 but 27-28 that contract will really hurt them if Thompson and Whitmore both hit and if he doesn't make a big jump he's not going to be worth the money someone will throw at him in 25.

Jabari has definitely been disappointing, and then he’ll have games where he can’t be stopped. He’s a good rebounder I think he needs to actually put on weight. I’d say he has until next year to make improvement but Whitemore and Eason are definitely better.

the most impressive thing about VP cucker is that he got Sengun to play defence. I don't even know how he did it but he has turned Sengun into, at least in advanced metrics, one of the best Rockets. He's #2 on the team in DRtg and DBPM, and leading the league in DWS (??!!?!??!).
