Long winning streak, Super Bowl talk, Dak in MVP conversations, etc...methinks this is setting up for a classic Dallas faceplant on the road and then a better showing when they play in Miami. Wouldn't be surprised to see Buffalo pull off a comfortable victory going away IMO
Also, Tyrone/Jamals/spics dont do well in the cold (99% of Cowboy fans outside of DFW), so I dont think Dallas will have that many fans in Buffalo that they normally do on the road
Wow that 63 point beatdown got the Chargers head coach and GM fired. Bill Belichick, come on down!

He's injured every season, tbh. I don't see the reason to be paying 55 millions per year on a QB just to throw 2 air yards screen passes and score 21 pts per game. Might as well spend all that money on keeping that beast receiving core intact and beefing up the O-line, tbh.

Assuming I can't take Purdy, I still rate Burrow #2. He shreds defenses down field doesn't just nickle & dime. Doesn't pout on the field, strong leader. Good movement in the pocket, isn't fooled with coverage.

Those are some of the first NFL memories I have. The Bucs beating the shit out of those Raiders in the SB.
Gannon wasn't lauded as the second best QB by everybody, though. Also, they scored more than 20 pts per game.

Almost all the Super Bowls were blowouts up to that point. It was San Diego. The Raiders center had a mental breakdown and disappeared into Tijuana.
Gruden was traded to the Bucs. Tampa probably wins anyway but that was disgraceful showing infront of the California fans and Raiders haven't been anywhere back.
I liked that Raiders team. Had bunch of veterans Rod Woodson, Romanowski, Janikowski. Charles Woodson.

Best Super Bowls I watched
1. 1998 - Broncos over Packers: 13game AFC losing streak snapped over the defending champions
2. 2008 - Giants over Patriots: Perfect season crushed
3. 2014 - Patriots over Seahawks: Brady's signature game

I'm not old, but not that young either, I just didn't get into the NFL as young as I did with soccer and the NBA. First NBA memories I have are MJ's Bulls in the mid 90's.

We are likely the same age brother. I notice it's theme on these message boards :lol
Ya I wasn't in love with NFL either. Fortunately my folks got me into Little League baseball. I tried Boy Scouts and didn't like it. Our neighbor recommended baseball. I ended up good and fell in love with Sports in America. MLB remains my American blanket. Most my close buddies love it too.

Possibly the Warner/Faulk Rams but that is the best team Brady defeated in the Super Bowl. To mount a comeback against that Seahawks secondary.
Maybe I am bias but before the game I announced if Tom stops the Seahawks from going Back2Back I will concede he is the NFL #1 QB
Falcons I watched and we all knew Patriots would find a way. Those Falcons had no hardware.
Those Seahawks are Top 3 team he ever beat. Rams and pick a Manning team.
Honorable mention: Ravens, 2006 Chargers :lol My buddies still talk about this from time to time

Solid 2023 draft picks.
Jammer Gibbs RB Alabama already up to 800 yards.
Laporta 71 catches 750 yards 9 TDs.
Gibbs and LaPorta. “It’s a hell of a job by him once again.
“Took a lot of criticism for those two picks. But they look like they’re ok, so I’m glad we’ve got them.”
Gibbs (Alabama) rushed for 100 yards on just 11 carries, as he averaged 9.1 yards per rush. He also had a rushing touchdown and a receiving score on 2 catches for 8 yards.
LaPorta had 5 receptions for 56 yards. Again, 3 of those catches were touchdowns.

sorry sons, but Cuckott giveth and Cuckott also taketh away. Expect another clunker from him next week tbh. Even during the COVID year, he couldn't play on the road and got rattled by artificial crowd noise.
the good news is that due to "differences in the demographics" between Miami and Buffalo, there will be a lot more Cowboy fans in Miami so maybe he'll get tricked into thinking it's a home game imho

Is Trevor Lawrence good?
He's not as bad as the stats show last night vs Baltimore.
Numerous dropped passes by butterfingered receivers, something a good number of current QBs suffer from.
2 missed FGs early.
He did have a rather comical fumble that was 100 induced by himself as he ran. Untouched, he brain farted the ball away. On the Ravens eh about 15 yard line. That was costly.
Jags running game was inept vs Ravens. Lawrence led with 41 yards. The entire team had 31 yards other then him.
Conclusion:
Not enough help.
Is good QB.
Not great.
Please football gods let the Colts win out and the Jags win two or fewer games the rest of the season, thus setting up a wild card rematch with the Browns so we can avenge the refs stealing that game from us earlier this season. You can do whatever you want with the rest of the playoff bracket, even letting the Cowboys win if you want. Amen.

Dak plays well against good teams inside the division. Outside of that, nothing the Cowcucks do can ever be taken seriously until they beat a good team on the road outside of the division. Doesn't matter if they win 80-0, break all kinds of scoring records, point differentials etc. The only time Prescott has beaten a good, non NFC East team on the road I believe was @ Pittsburgh his rookie year. No coincidence, that was also Zeke's signature game that year including taking an 80 yard screen to the house, but that's literally the only time in his entire career that I can remember Dak showing up on the road against a good non-NFC East team. Heck, his road record against good NFC East teams isn't even good off the top of my head (2016 clunker @ NY, 2018 loss at Washington, failing to score the game winning TD on 1st and goal from the 6 against Philly this year etc)
I have no idea how someone can go from playing like the Black Peyton Manning at home one week then turn into the Black Nathan Peterman in important road games, but that’s just who he is and it’s been happening for 8 seasons now. When do you move on?

Dak is never getting benched because he has a cult like following among Cowbe@ner fans. He's a genuine nice guy and he talks tough/macho to the media which appeals to the majority be@ner fanbase. There would be a riot if Mr Machismo got benched because he's a mediocre quarterback. That's why, even though it's obviously apparent who he is at this point, any talk of benching is still met with extreme vitriol by the Cowboy fan masses. Despite complete coaching/roster turnover yet the same exact results. The closest admittance you'll get from Cowboyfan of admitting Dak's poor play is "well the whole team played bad!"

As schizo as the Bills look, one thing they are consistent at is rarely getting boat raced.
Here’s their 3 possession losses the last 5 seasons (including this one):
2019 vs Eagles (31-13)
2020 at Titans (42-16)…weird Tuesday night COVID reschedule, Josh was playing with a separated shoulder
2022 vs Bengals (27-10)…playoff debacle.
If you want to add 2-possession losses in that same time span then the only amendments would be the two Chiefs losses in 2020 (26-17 at home and 38-24 in postseason).
The Bills are maddeningly frustrating but the one thing you gotta give them is they are in every game. Barring a beatdown at Miami in Week 18, they will have gone 61 regular season games without a 2-possession loss.

AFC teams seem to be more boom or bust. Higher ceiling but also more combustible.

I actually see it the other way around. The Niners looked like World beaters, then lost 3 straight, now they look like World beaters again. Eagles 9 games undefeated, now they can't beat anyone. The Cowboys either win or lose by a blowout. AFC teams are more consistent on a week to week basis. Chiefs never looked quite alright all season, but they are always in games. Bills kind of similar, but with more loses. The Ravens could have won every game, etc.

It’s the NFL, everybody is banged up at this point in the season.
Considering how poorly the Chargers had been coached, the one positive point on Lawrence’s resume, that playoff comeback win, doesn’t look all that impressive anymore. Pretty disappointing considering he was supposed to be the next Peyton.
