Everyone lacks one or more fundamental aspects of the game modern NBA player should have.
Usually those flawed players excel one specific thing, but other than McDermott who used to be an elite shooter, none of our guys have that ability.

This game is such a let down from the last game. Vassell needs to have more gravity than this. He so rarely does what he did Friday. It’s frustrating because he’s capable of taking over games. When he’s decisive the rest of the team follows.

Agree 100 percent. I couldn't wait until Victor got around NBA players who knew how to get him the ball and a coach who could design a game plan for him.

How wrong I was. Victor is one of the best players in the entire league, and has to take bad shots just to get enough touches. There's no greater indictment of a program and their coach. Absolute waste of his immense talent.

I was watching the game with my non-Spurs fan buddy, who is a good basketball player, and he asked if Victor was a jerk or an asshole, because his teammates ignore him on offense like he's a little brother who was forced to play with the big kids.

Agree. Many times the offense parks him in the corner like Kyle Anderson and ignores him. Victor will hit two shots in a row and then they'll ignorenhim for the next five possessions or sub him out. It's infuriating.

Easy. They have 2 or 3 at the most actual NBA rotation players. With one being a bonafide starters.

The best player on this roster is a teenager - whom the other players seem to be struggling with that fact at the moment. You would hope the Coach or GM would step in at some point. But they are also the geniuses who thought it was a great idea to play without a point guard - with a generational big on the roster.

Unfortunately, I think there is some truth to what you've said here. But also unfortunately, with the consistency that the team oopsies wide-open 3s on both sides of the ball and oopsies away easy layups and oopsies away passing opportunities to that big lanky mofo and oopsies as a opposing mid-tier guard just waltzes into the lane for an easy score and oopsies away 50-50 balls so that they look like 65-35 balls...it looks like the guys can't hang with real hoopers consistently, on top of coaching deficiencies. They seem unable to do the basic janitorial actions that contribute to winning over and over and over again in a row, and maybe that's because they lack the natural physical cability and not because they haven't been told any better.
