Cowboys at home vs Lions.
Does this mean we see Dak doing the stanky leg after a decisive Bois victory?

That was an obvious technical flag, not even subjective. If they don't report eligible with a non-eligible number they can't catch, plus he was uncovered and off the LOS, that's like 3 different flags they could have called. Illegal formation.
It's not like the game came down to a questionable OPI or holding or something.

BREAKING NEWS: Jared Goff is still Jared Goff.

If Goff horks that 6 inches higher and Lion receiver catches it, we have a super photo finish ending.
Would Cowboi D back have stuffed him short of the endzone or???
Even with the underthrow, if Lion catches that he can roll into the endzone. I think Cowboi backer would have toched him down just short. Regardless, would have made for a hell of an ending.

And where did I say or imply the clock would run down?
What I was trying to say is that if you go for 2 and get it, you still have a high % of losing the game with 23 seconds left and 2 TO's for the Cowboys. Whereas if they just went for the FG and the tie, the Cowboys probably just take a knee.
Going for 2 wasn't worth the risk, tbh.

????? Why wouldn't the Cowboys had gone for a field goal either way. Being tied or being down 1.? You think Fatty would think a couple throws would be too risky?
I don't think he would be too paranoid to try a couple passes but ya, who knows.

Video clearly shows #68 and #70 going up to the ref Brad Allen and a short conversation being had.
Ref is claiming #70 did check in as eligible, #68 did not.
I'm calling total bullshit.
Why would #68 run accorss the field and approach the ref to say.....Nothing?

Scott Van Pelt show broke it down nicely with quotes.
He said / He said.
#68 Lions is saying he most def did check in, said they practiced it during the week. Video absolutely shows him approaching ref.
Ref says he did not check in. Says #70 did check in, but 68 did not.
Possible ref was multitasking and simply did not hear #68?
Or total rigged bullshit with Jerra Jones and Vegas seeing the ref is nicely comped?

Fuck you and all your retarded ass conspiracy theories.
If the league and refs wanted to rig the game, why'd they call a questionable offensive 15 yard tripping penalty on the last Dallas drive when they were trying to run the clock out?
Your arguments are stupid as fuck just like the rotting vegetable inside your ugly conspiretard head.
If you don't want to leave the game up to the refs, how about just run your base offense and beat the Cowboys straight up instead of running a trick play?
Or, if you think you're better than us, take your chances in OT instead of being a dingle douche edgelord and going for 2?
Gosh you morons are so fucking stupid. :lol

We had one timeout not two because McFatass was an idiot and wasted one on trying to make Detroit jump offsides on a fucking 4th & 6 on the last Dallas offensive drive instead of just kicking the FG, and wasted another on the first two point conversion attempt, but your point still stands. With the kicker we have in Aubrey and his crazy long range, all we realistically needed was 1-2 completions to make a field goal if we start from the 25, and Ceedee Lamb was cooking their defense all game.

Because one mistake can cost you the game. Don't act like being agressive with 20 seconds left and the game tied is the norm. Most teams/coaches play it safe there.

You can clearly hear the ref reporting #70 as an eligible receiver in this clip before the play. If the ref got it wrong or didn’t hear properly, then it’s on Detroit to pay attention and correct them.

Supposed to stop the play and inform Old Man he got it wrong. As the play clock is ticking down.

:lol I'm not saying the ref is correct here, he obviously got it wrong but he said before the play "#70 was eligible" so he was consistent atleast. If he swallowed the whistle afterward, then it would just be another controversy.
Also, why the f*ck is Detroit having three O-linemen run to the ref like that? It's kind of hilarious to think that they were doing it to try and confuse Dallas but confused the ref instead :lmao
I don't care either way as I know Dallas is going home early as usual, but it is funny to see people out one side of their mouth say "le Jerry paying off the refs again" and then turn around and go "LOL Cowboys haven't won anything in 28 years"....as if Jerry runs out of money every time we get to the Divisional Round or something rofl

I think that is exactly what Detroit was doing. Running some fake interference to throw off the Boys. Notice how the 2 Lion lineman rather subtly go up to the ref. #68 says he verbalized eligible,, and i believe him 100. Contrast with how animated #70 comes running over. #70 says he did not say anything. As Aikman noted, Old Man Refs vision appears to be completely on #70.
Ya i think it's entirely possible Detroit ran a Trojan Horse on purpose to create confusion. Did it to perfection, but Old Man Ref got confused and it all backfired. :lmao
Here's you and i previously arguing, but the truth be told the owners have zero interest in the integrity of calls. Year after year they don't do shit to improve the calls. And hey reffing no doubt is extremely difficult. But rather then use replay as an aide, it's half the time ignored when the correct call could clearly be made.
What would really be revealing here is if the ref was miked up in such a way we could hear what the player(s) said.

Also, absolutely brilliant 4D Chess onside kick by Arizona in that situation, even though they didn't recover, the brilliance of it worked to perfection. Maybe it'll be a trendy thing in shootouts like that where the other team kills you by running the ball and grinding the clock out.
If Arizona doesn't onside kick... Philly wins 31-28 with zeroes on the clock.

I recall the refs making the tripping call but not the specifics.
The two point try call was at the crucial moment and at least for me the neutral fan I was watching closely and thus the not reporting call was egregious.
