Man sochan can’t even stay behind the 3 point arch when he is wide open. Geez.

When I see Wesley play, I see speed, length, and athleticism. Sure, he may never put it all together and be out of the league by the end of his rookie contract. But you can see why the Spurs took a flier on him.

Marcus Smart continues to crack me up. He’d be incredibly frustrating to have on your team lol

Saw Pop talking to him after the game I hope we don’t pick up that contract

I think Tre should stay manning the bench and Wesley’s defense help the starters sustain leads. The kid doesn’t need a lot of touches just happy to break defenses with his speed and defend the POA

That was a block Wesley. Of course his haters would say foul. But great staying in fromt of Ja

It was a foul. You could see it on the replay. The Spurs need to stop defending with their arms and defend better with their feet. Wesley did a good job with his feet, which is commendable. The team doesn't necessarily need that kind of defense though. They need to do a better job of leveraging and helping. Wesley's agility is always helpful, but it worries me that Pop is still trying to get his guys to play one-on-one defense like it was 10 years ago rather than implementing modern concepts. It's like the can't innovate past 2014-style coaching. That used to be cutting edge, but teams have incorporated and developed counters to those methods now.

Despite my criticisms of Wesley's game I would be happy to see him, Jones or even Graham start. Anyone resembling a primary bwllhandler would be a welcome change.

But Pop will probably go for Keldon or Osman or McDermott

Marcus Smart would be a dream to have on your team. Made Devin Vassell look like Devin Brown tonight.

An offensively challenged player that won’t take any shots away from Victor and will guard the opposing team’s best guard. Bring him home.

This team got absolutely bailed out in the 2023 draft getting Wemby. Because holy crap has Brian Wrong been one of the worst GMs I’ve seen. Then you got senile Pop and his yes men out there and you see why this team has no direction.

Team would be winless if we got fucked in the lottery and gotten stuck with Ausar Thompson :lmao

LMAO @ doesn't take any shots away. Bro the reason the Celtics traded him was becasue he was constantly doing heroball shit at the end of games when they had Tatum and Brown. This is the take of someone who has never seen Smart play.

Smart to Holiday was such a massive upgrade for the Celtics.

Blake definitely showed some improvement tonight. Basically the only player on the team who can drive and kick outside of maybe Keldon who would rather shoot anyway. Tre for whatever reason never seems to penetrate and pass out much.

This off season Boston made the necessary moves to get over the top.

And...a chance Blake starts next game due to injuries. His defense on Ja was solid.

WTF IS POP DOING??????

Wemby in out in out in out

Wemby sub himself back in. Unlike his teammates and front office, winning matters to Wemby and he was trying to win the game.
He plays with complete morons so a win was very unlikely though.

What do we make of Wemby subbing himself in? Not a great sign that everyone is on the same page

Yeah, but like new shit has come to light, man!

Have we ever seen a player subbing himself in under Pop?

Could be high IQ Vic sending signals he can't send in press conferences ...

It's just hillarious how awful Doug is on defense.

So 5 wins with everybody being on the same page is a good sign? :lmao

I love it. It's a direct shot by Wemby to the coaching staff, the FO, and the ownership group. It gives me hope that the senile old fuck might not be long for this organization after all.

Make it happen, Vic.

Wemby subbing himself in is a terrible sign of problems within the organization/ I don't know how the coaching staff deals with it. We got trouble in River City

Are you saying Wemby just went into the game without Pop telling him to?

The rest of the team might not like Wemby getting special treatment.
