15 receptions 238 yards and 1 TD

Now that is a bad ass game for a WR.

He set 2 Dolphins records today with most receptions and yards in a game.

Yeah, Chambers is the man. But lets not forget, the reason the former Badger had to make the comback was because the other former Badger, Lee Evans, had three amazing TDs. :D

I picked up Lee Evans off of waivers in my keeper league. He'll be bad ass next year because he is Losman's favorite target. Losman will be better next year and that means Evans will be more consistent with his fantasy points.

For a school thats focused on the run, Wisconsin has produced some nice WRs. :smokin

Dont forget the great Al Toon! And, seniors Brandon Williams and Johnathan Orr have a lot of potential. So remember those names. :D

I can't wait to see David Thomas play in the NFL next year. He is a bad ass TE but I bet he goes in the 2nd round.

No surprise here but...
Chris Chambers Named AFC Offensive Player Of The Week
December 7, 2005

Last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, wide receiver Chris Chambers helped catapult the Dolphins to one of their greatest comeback victories with an individual performance that was unmatched in team history. Today he was honored for that achievement by being named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for games of December 11-12, as he joins a select group of Dolphins wide receivers to come away wit the award.

In the 24-23 win at Dolphins Stadium, Chambers set club single-game records by tallying 15 receptions for 238 yards, 171 of which came in the second half, including 152 in the fourth quarter. His four-yard touchdown reception from Sage Rosenfels with six seconds to play capped the comeback. He surpassed the previous team single-game highs of 12 receptions by Jim Jensen (11/6/88 at New England) and 217 yards by Mark Duper (11/10/85 vs. N.Y. Jets).

Once the Dolphins scored their first touchdown of the game to make it 23-10 in the fourth quarter, Chambers knew Miami had a chance to make it all the way back. “Once we got that first score (Ricky Williams’ 5-yard TD run),” Chambers said when asked when he had an idea the Dolphins had an opportunity to win the game. “That’s all we wanted to do - was to get on the board and get some rhythm. Once we got some confidence, guys started making plays all over the field. We just stayed hot and kept going and guys never thought we were out of the game.”

On the season, Chambers has now caught 60 passes for 837 yards and six touchdowns. With 163 more receiving yards, he would become the first Dolphin to have a 1,000-yard season since Tony Martin accounted for 1,037 in 1999. With seven more receptions, he would become the sixth player in franchise history to reach the 300-catch plateau for a career.

This is Chambers’ first AFC Offensive Player of the Week award in his five-year career. He won NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month honors in November of 2001. He is the first Dolphin to earn AFC Offensive Player of the Week accolades since quarterback Jay Fiedler in week 13 of 2003, in a 40-21 win at Dallas on November 27. He is the first Dolphins wide receiver to win the award since Mark Ingram in week 13 of 1994, in a 28-24 victory over the New York Jets at the Meadowlands. Overall, since the award was first instituted in 1984, Chambers is just the fourth Dolphins wide receiver to be bestowed with this honor, joining Ingram, Mark Clayton (week 16 of 1984, at Dallas) and Mark Duper (week 15 of 1987, vs. Washington).
