Positive point differential since putting Tre in the starting lineup.

Tre, Wemby and Vassell are a decent starting 3. The other 2 guys...not so much. If we could upgrade Champagnie and Sochan, the Spurs would be better.

Nice to see some potential for a change. Wemby is a constant pleasant surprise.

nah, tre is clearly the weak spot of the roster.

Detroit is in an awful state. They have two clear NBA players in Cunningham and Duren. The rest is a massive question.

Good to see Barlow stepping up and contributing. Wesley has slowed his processing way down and to me needs more court time.

Wesley was 1 pt away from this team having 10 players in double figures. Wild.

the Pistons are that bad. It's too the point you have remorse for them

One of the commentators was saying during the game that how many top 10 draft picks were on the Detroit team. Like Body said, they have Cade and Duren right now and the rest are question marks. Now that so many guys get drafted under the age of 20 when you have a lineups of guys mostly under 23 (*cough* Spurs *cough*), a lot of the guys are going to look like they don't belong but what they need is experience and development. Building through the draft is different now than when seniors and juniors comprised most of the draft and HS and one and done guys were the exception. By the way, he is not superstar but Burke often looked like the best guy on the floor after Duren for them.

jones in the starting lineup is paying off for both wemby and sochan.

Golden State should have moved on from Wiseman his second year when he still had some trade value. God he is Anthony Bennett levels of bad, I wouldn't even trade Branham for him.

Building through the draft is fine. Detroit just picked players who don’t have any NBA skills except maybe athleticism or potential. Basically an entire team of Jeremy Sochan. Obvious why they are bad. People ignore teams like OKC when talking about building through the draft or even this years Magic

We'd probably be fighting for a play-in spot if Malaki never decided to take up basketball tbh :lol

Amazing how much better the Spurs look with an actual point guard in the starting lineup.

And I'd say Tre is a B- level NBA point guard. If the Spurs could add a little more powerful PG, an actual defensive specialist 3 and D wing, this team could be decent already. Two players away and they'd be play-in eligible. Hopefully this is the first and last tank year of Wemby's career.

Champagnie for sure. I'm not settled on Jeremy yet, not completely.

Couldn't even secure multiple rebounds without a soul within 10 feet of him. That shit was embarrassing tbh.

Monty is a horrible coach btw, the worst aspects of the old man without any of the positives from the glory days. Congrats to him on one of the biggest coaching heists this century tbh.

The Magic have sucked for three years to draft a team that is currently 8th in their conference. If they're the benchmark, I'm just not as patient as you are.

OKC looks good this year but I'm not sure anyone considers them Championship tier, and they'll probably need to trade some of their youth for veteran talent to get to that level.

What's a "good" coach?

The Thunder are clearly contenders (Clippers, Nuggets, Celtics, 76ers pending the expected addition of a secondary ball handler).

Agree , I've been saying that for a while now. While Tre isn't a top point guard, he's the best that we have. After the spurs giving him a nice two year extension, you would have thought that he would have been the starting point guard 30 plus games ago. Thanks a lot Popovich for figuring that out - finally.

I'd be willing to throw the Charlotte pick and Branham for a another halfway decent point guard.

Real revolutionary stuff from the old man in the last few games as well. Who would have thought that starting your best PG,giving Barlow (who looked amazing during SL) some minutes, and making a concerted effort to get the 7'4' guy touches near the rim would improve the team.

This is why he gets paid the big bucks tbh
