Like to see the Lions win too.
But I'm fine with the 49ers.
At least not beat themselves, which seems to be how a lot of 2024s playoff games are being decided.
May the best team win in both games.

Horse Tracks: Is the NFL setting the stage for a Chiefs win in Baltimore? (msn.com) (https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/horse-tracks-is-the-nfl-setting-the-stage-for-a-chiefs-win-in-baltimore/ar-BB1hlrHK?ocid=msedgntp&pc=U531&cvid=809cb1a93de645a0b16dc1593902cdf9&ei=18)
Home teams have won only 40.8% of games in the last three years with Smith as referee.
That is the lowest win rate for any referee in the NFL.
Across the NFL, home teams have won 55.4% of games during that span. With Smith, the rate precipitously drops down to 40.8%.
Source: NFL Referee Trends & Impact, Ravens vs. Chiefs (https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/betting/chiefs-ravens-shawn-smith-referee-trends-impact/)
He went on to note many other stats to back up the road team favorability when Smith is officiating. His crew ranked number one out of 24 crews in road team win percentage since 2018.

Exact opposite in the Bay Area this Sunday:
Sharp went on to talk about the other crew this weekend between the SF 49er and Detroit Lions and the stats swing in the complete opposite direction. There Clete Blakeman’s crew is one of the most favorable officiating crews for home teams. That means the Lions are going to have a heck of a time overcoming that in much the same way the Ravens will have on their end.

Keys:
In spite of all the Baltimore phuck ups:
Flowers fumble huge turning point. 17-14 i could see KC possibly tightening up, Raven D and crowd on fire. We'll never know.
Lamar could have busted a run many times when deep WRs were covered. Did not.
Ravens play calling pretty much bad. Play option was open all day. Went for too much straight drop back.
Lamars pocket awareness on too many plays was zero.
Stupid assed personal fouls (2).
INT in end zone certainly was pass interference, obvious at that. LOL Gene Statuatory. #27 tackling #80, giving Lively zero chance to adjust to ball.
Still a retarded play call. Ravens has just gotten thru working the ball 50 yards on take-what-the-defense-gives. Same retarded go-for-endzone that Josh Allen did end of Bills Chiefs game.
Reffing was all in all very good! Did not rip off Ravens. Chiefs outside tackle was allowed to hold all game, but aside from him key holding calls were made vs Chiefs.
Patty was dynomite, wiggling out of 3rd down with scrambles.
Kelse is a massive phaggot, and Swift is lesbo. Totally arranged marketing dating.

Or if Campbell doesn't gamble like a lunatic. Niners only score a FG after halftime and your response is to...not go for a FG to maintain a 2 score game? The second 4th down gamble was ridiculous so let's just skip that.
This game was textbook why coaches can lose games (and players often win them).

Eh, at that point the Niners couldn't stop the run at all. Mistake was passing it instead of running it with Montgomery. Agreed on the second one, but they've been aggressive on 4th down all year.

Most people outside of Michigan didn’t pay much attention to the Lions this season despite their record. But that’s how Dan Campbell coached all season long. It’s part of what made the Lions who they were, super aggressive on 4th down even when analytics were iffy on it. And it’s a big part of their overall success. That’s Dan Campbell’s approach and personality. And Badgley is not automatic at 47 yards. I’m not saying he was right making those calls, especially turning down that game tying FGA. But that’s who he is. If Badgley misses the game tying FG, I think Campbell probably loses more sleep than he does now over going for it.
Also, as already pointed out, Reynolds should have caught the ball. If Campbell calls the game the same way but Reynolds catches the ball and/or Gibbs doesn’t fumble, Lions win. Three plays in the second half decided the game. Reynolds not making that 4th down catch, the Aiyuk catch off the DB’s helmet, and the Gibbs fumble.
I’m not a Lions fan, but I grew up in Detroit. This franchise has been utter shitballs for three decades. What Campbell has done in just a couple of years has been nothing short of a miracle. You can criticize his decisions. But no way should he lose his job.

On paper we are alot more talented than 2019 and they lost pieces like Hill, Clark and Matteui. It seems they have reloaded well on Defense.
If 49ers put 4 quarters together and Moody doesn't boot a kick, we will win.
Scheme wise, Reid crossing routes versus Wilks. Yikes.
We'll get deeper into the matchup during lead up.

Don't wanna get too deep into it while drinking, but the more I look at it the more I question how the Chiefs defend the Niners. Sneed can guard Aiyuk or Deebo but not both. Jones will be a problem but he's a better defender against the run which puts him at odds with the Williams/CMC combo. Purdy is also dominant against blitzes which the Chiefs like to run. If Purdy continues to remember he can run the ball it also bodes well.
That being said, Reid is gonna have a field day against Wilks' defense. They can't defend against TEs and Kelce is easily the best they've seen this season. Pacheco is also the best RB they've seen this season (albeit Jones was close).
If the Chiefs get a case of the dropsies again the Niners can dominant but that's asking too much. Doesn't even get into Mahomes' maneuverability, where the Niners struggle the most.
Too much to analyze right now.

Sorry, but no. You kick that FG in the third quarter and you win the game, simple as that. I don't care how you got there, the 4th game of the regular season isn't the same as the conference final. Going for it instead of kicking a FG to go 3 possessions up with a quarter and a half to go isn't the same as going for it in the first quarter with the game tied. Campbell lost that game with unnecessary, useless, downright moronic decisions. A FG at that point of the game is basically as good as a TD. There was absolutely no need to risk it on 4th and 2.

But that crew, Black referee led (out of a dictate from New York) tried with much aplomb to get both sides to settle down early and get lost into the game, so, it wouldn't end up in a full scale riot, but by the bitter end that riot came dangerously close...Chiefs had succeeded in luring the Ravens into embarrassing fouls, especially Swift's boyfriend with a shameless lure that no American man could let stand unpunished.
