Collins is fantastic on the bench, great towel waving guy if he had a towel.

Speaking of Simons, could he be the under the radar guy the spurs go after?

Vic probably heard some of that criticism that he doesn't keep his blocks in play :lol

Small, no defense chucker. ST approves.

Pure vertical from above, placed directly into the court. Elliott calls it a "smother".

Would immediately be the second best player on our team. Not good enough for exstatic. Waiting for Jalen Smith to hit free agency.

Some years ago there was a stat about the percentage of blocks that were kept in play, Timmy was way ahead of everyone else, with Dwight being the worst.
Tried to find it, no chance.

he is not wrong though. He is 6'3 SG and his defense is not great. He is going to look for a pay increase at the end of 2025 probably looking for over 30 millions. Do we want to commit more than 60 millions to Vassel and him? For me, he is just a shorter Vassel, a little better offensively but worse defensively.

Are you thinking of Huizinga’s presentation at MIT in 2010 ( https://www.espn.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/14032/the-value-of-a-blocked-shot )? There was a similar post on Pounding the Rock, though: https://www.poundingtherock.com/2013/3/20/4117576/tim-duncan-is-the-defensive-player-of-the-year
Per Huizinga in his 2010 paper, Tim Duncan had (up to then) the best season in history when it came down to value/block with 1.12, meaning he saved 1.12 points with every block and Dwight Howard ended up with the worst season in terms of value/block with with .53 (both came during the 2008 season).
Most incredible block I've ever seen, and Wemby has done some incredible blocks.

He might have to start wearing a helmet to protect himself from the backboard and rim sheesh :rollin

Careful now, we wouldn't want him to strain his shoulder waiving a large piece of fabric
