I tuned in at noon to the Ticket760 today and Bill Schoening reported that Gino worked out with the team and participated in shoot-around today. He's officially listed as "questionable" but he may be able to go vs. Orlando tonight.

Get healthy Manu. It's a long season.

Let him continue to heal. If he is "questionable" then playing him for one pretty meaningless road game is stupid.

I say keep him out as long as you can...let him heal until we really need him for an important game...

Manu already this treated, it he has to play tonight. It was a very modest injury, with 3 days, this well

Manu comes back for Heat @SBC Wed.

We also need him for the Clips@SBC next week.

Manu could use the extra day or two of rest. I'd rather him come back 100% then 50% so it's better he takes his time

I'd say rest him until the Miami game on Wednesday when Shaq might be back too. Hopefully Manu's not trying to push coming back to fast. I know he's looked bored being on the bench for the last two games but still I'd rather be safe and sorry. Besides they're missing a lot of their players.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to remember that we lost at Orlando last year, or was it in 03?

Lost last year.

So what?

It took all fun out of the Championship and kept them from achieving 60 regular season wins. At least it didn't impact their Southwest Division Championship.

If Manu's injury has healed and he is ready to play, he should play :spin

spurs need him in the playoffs or they need to find someone else that does what he does to win it all

Same could be said of Parker...actually, you could find many more PGs that bring what Parker brings, before finding SGs that bring what Manu does.

Anyway, keep the anti Manu trolling, someday may work.

LOL @ this Manu talk

Manu will NEVER get traded unless he gets in a fight with Duncan and then beats up Pop

Manu put the Spurs on his back most of the playoffs to help this team win it all

I doubt spurs resign manu... and they may trade him to get something in return

spurs are not going to throw the max at manu and some team will and manu is already showing signs what his body is going to be like when he gets older

TwoHandJam
12-05-2005, 10:25 PM
Manu obviously wasn't 100% tonight. I believe Manu just really wanted to play having languished on the bench and Pop obliged. He's a competitor and this time off is probably killing him. Even hobbled he was still effective in spots and dished out 4 assists in limited minutes. I'm not worried about him coming back strong when he's fully healed. It's a long season.

TMTTRIO
12-05-2005, 10:43 PM
I didn't really get to see the game but Bill said on the radio that Manu did something to his ankle out there :depressed . At that moment I was hoping Manu would sit out tonight. At least hopefully it wasn't serious.

I am not the only one in the forum that do not think manu will be resign with the spurs

manu's body is taking a beating I am not convinced his body after this contract is going to be ok
it already is showing signs of age
this is the second time he is hurt this year and he is 16 games into a 82 game season and HE HAD THE SUMMBER OFF :depressed :depressed :depressed :depressed
