The ship that caused the Baltimore bridge collapse also crashed in a European port in 2016 (msn.com) (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/the-ship-that-caused-the-baltimore-bridge-collapse-also-crashed-in-a-european-port-in-2016/ar-BB1kyJ26?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=4e702598e34545c693a005c731f30399&ei=22)

Hong Kong owners.

The ship has appeared to change ownership after the 2016 crash, VesselFinder reported.
In the 2016 video the ship had its home port marked as Majuro in the Marshall Islands.
Its registration later changed to Singapore, as seen in an image taken in 2018. (https://www.fleetmon.com/vessels/dali_9697428_9635332/photos/2077069/)
It is currently owned by Grace Ocean Pte Ltd. and is managed by Synergy Marine Group, Reuters (https://www.reuters.com/world/us/16-mile-bridge-baltimore-collapses-after-ship-collision-fox-baltimore-reports-2024-03-26/) reported. It had been chartered by the shipping giant Maersk, and its next stop was Colombo, Sri Lanka.

It's obvious sarcasm, but, it's kind of emblematic of what the Left has done recently, especially in the past five years.

There aren't very many broken bridges though at least in the USA

Ever thought about Jumping off a bridge?

I'm sure you sold several over the Mojave while compiling your self made forum fortune. Hook a brother up.

Driving on I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge is not fun

Anybody remember or ever drive on the Grace Memorial Bridge in Charleston, SC?

I white knuckled the steering wheel every time I was on it. Bridge was finally closed/demo’d 20 years ago iirc

I never understood why that one has to be so steep.

I'm sure you sold several over the Mojave while compiling your self made forum fortune. Hook a brother up. It's been since 2021 when the last time I was there I was just amazed at how the Arizona side Arco was $2.69 for a gallon of gas and literally right across the bridge within short walking distance, the Exxon in Needles CA was $5.49 for the same gallon of gas.

One major bridge is too many.

I guess you have. Maybe get a job and a psychiatrist

Did the crash happen on Rawls' side of the line or is it the county's responsibility? Looks like that Rockafella and WMD about to shoot up in price.

When I read those stories about people driving at night in the rain and a bridge being out and them not knowing, that's terrifying. That sudden realization that you fucked up and the muddy water coming across your windshield as your vehicle submerges.

It won't become common, and i'm sorry to admit i have not put these in my cars:

Surfers have these wrist bands and ankle bands. A company (many companies?) make them so if they get knocked out by a knarly fall, they literally cannot sink. These bands are filled with air or something and keep an adult body afloat -period.

Would be very simple to keep some of these these in ones car.
I know, i know cue the Its not Fashionable squaking.

Hey is there tech that could keep a car afloat?

The ankle and leg bracelets would fit in the jockey box next to the cat litter.

Wouldn't help if your car was underwater.

A company makes a nifty hammer or somesuch that breaks windows easily. Another tool that should be in every car around water but isnt.

But ya you'd damn near have to have been wearing them for this Hong Kong boat company and Baltimore bridge.

I've never tried to break a car window under water, but wouldn't a regular hammer work?

It might, but there was something much better about this material. The glass just crumbled without having to Babe Ruth swing the hammer.

Every millisecond counts in an underwater car.

Back to those wrist and ankle floatation bands. I know Muricans are way too cool to wear them, but imagine if it was custumary to slip them on -at least the wrist bands- when crossing a bridge like that.

You'd be screwed on that bridge. Not sure how well breaking a window would work unless you were in a static flow condition, but in that high tidal movement you'd probably do well to get away from that wreckage.

If any government should be paying to repair and replace the bridge it is Singapore, not the USA, Joe Biden use your brain, oh wait it's rotten.
