Sochan could miss the remainder of the season after suffering a left ankle impingement in the first half of Friday night's 130-126 win over the New York Knicks at the Frost Bank Center.

The Spurs on Saturday ruled Sochan and Keldon Johnson (sprained left foot) out for Sunday night's home game against the Golden State Warriors.

Ankle impingement is a condition that causes a painful limitation of ankle range of motion due to a soft-tissue or bony abnormality, according to NBA.com.

Cleveland point guard Ty Jerome missed several weeks with an ankle impingement before undergoing season-ending arthroscopic surgery in January.
