The Case for Drafting Hailey Van Lith

Pros:
With Karen Popovichs sole focus being on drawing attention to what he hopes the public perceives as his Woke persona, what better way then to draft the first woman into the NBA.

With the Pops Puritan Patrol banning the Silver Dancers, we could see a little spice and beauty on the sidelines.

Possibly a beter point guard then many of the current trotted out by Pop.

Knows how to throw a lob pass to a 7'4" wide open super closer.

The Case against Drafting Haily Van Lith

While a better ball handler, defender and facilitator. may not have the 3 pt shooting ability that Pops progeny Bryn Forbes had.

Could cause issues on team bus or plane with horndog Spurs players.

Flagg sweepstakes should be at the forefront, but there's 6'6 PG Johnson out of Texas who could be a Lonzo Ball type show runner for the big tall guy the Spurs picked up last year.

On a serious note Tre Johnson keep an eye out. He's been mocked online to the Spurs in '25 as a top five pick. He's got range that Dejounte Murray could only dream of. The Ball comp was part of my troll post. But yeah UT hasn't had a big time guard ever apart from TJ Ford so I understand your misgivings on that front.
