How much foresight could it possibly it take to prepare a candidate within four years to take over the presidency from a senile 120 year-old? Trump is blatanly lying, and Biden is senile. These are the choices you're left with in our "People don't buy the car, they buy me." culture.

Vote for Kennedy or Stein, or don't vote. That's pretty much what inner Wayne county is doing this cycle, talking to people there.
The Muslims / Arabs hate Biden passionately and won't stomach voting for Trump, so a lot of them are just saying fuck voting this time around even after turning out heavy for Biden in 2020. The Caldeans are definitely favoring Trump

"Well, he had a terrible cold, perhaps even pneumonia, yes, that's been confirmed he had, and still has pneumonia and now a case of the runs from that Waffle House. Taking that, the pneumonia into account, he, President Biden did better than that Trump. President Biden never lied, not once, not 1 single time, while that Trump lied by our CNN exact estimates 133 times, at least. I feel good about this, plus New York State has now found another half dozen, or, more crimes by that Trump and will hand up indictments sometime in the near future, definitely before Election Day."

Could be a big October suprise with Biden
Serious hurricane landfalls tend to benefit Democrats at the POTUS level and hurt the GOP at the POTUS level regardless of who's incumbent, see Katrina and Sandy, and 2024 is expected to be a monster hurricane season, so the Dems have that going for them...
Just like when major shootings help Democrats on the issue of gun control, major hurricane strikes help Democrats by bringing the issue of global warming to the forefront. Pandemics help Democrats by bringing to the forefront issues of healthcare and increase of government power over individualism.
Terrorist attacks, illegal aliens committing major crimes, and in general foreign bad shit overseas helps the GOP.

It is very typical of the elderly with mental decline to have good days and bad days. Joe probably still has more good days than bad days. As it progresses the bad days get more frequent. Old Joe just woke up on a "bad" day last Thursday. I'm pretty sure his handlers lost their shit and went "why did we want a debate and what the fuck are we gonna do now?"
Tyronn Lue
06-29-2024, 08:25 AM
Joe's issue clearly comes and goes. He's likely not competent to be POTUS even though he has moments of clarity. Joe would have to decide to not run, there's nothing anyone but congress can do otherwise and I don't know if they can do that based on a debate performance. This isn't new though, everyone here already knew. Clearly Joe's team over prepped him and he couldn't sift through the talking points well enough to fire back meaningful responses. He seems to do better when there's no exchanges, but for much of the debate I thought he did ok.

Trump being on the GOP ticket isn’t a good enough excuse to continue to run Biden as the opponent. If Democrats want to guarantee a victory, they really need to replace him and fast. The other problem with this is we’ve been lied to by our government for at least the past 2 years about Biden’s mental fitness. It was somewhat apparent in 2020 but I’ll be generous and say the last 2 years have been really bad. This doesn’t really instill confidence in our government. Sure, Trump lies but it’s mostly his ego and pretty obvious. The lies that have been told during this administration are on a larger scale as far as being hush hush about a president in mental decline. I’d argue that it’s a national security issue to keep Joe around even now. There are still things he makes the ultimate decision on. Time to swear in Kamala. At least she’s not a total embarrassment in front of the rest of the world.

But to send Biden to the showers in front of Trump would activate an entire new assassination crew onto Trump.
It has absolutely nothing to do with Biden. This is, always was and always will be about Trump the minute he made President. And Trump knows it and knows everybody in this country knows he knows it. That fact is what inspires that old man. He won and he was not permitted to win, but forbidden to do so. It's a White man thing. I've been there, sure, not anywhere near this level, but I've been there and the resentment after "my" accomplishment(s) was palpable.
We've all be there. It's a grand feeling, and can be dangerous because then, yes, you're marked as Trump has been marked now for 8 years. But is it worth it? You couldn't drag me, or, that old man away.

You're not looking at this right, tbh. The only thing that guarantees a Dem victory is Dennison, not Joe. At the end of the day, Joe is old, decrepit and a known quantity. ie: Kamala would be a substantially worse candidate going into an election.
The real danger for Dems is Joe dying before the election, where that switch would be forced.

President Biden is facing criticism (https://www.foxnews.com/category/person/joe-biden) from Gold Star families after falsely claiming during Thursday's CNN Presidential Debate that he's the "only president this century, this decade, that doesn't have any troops dying anywhere in the world."
Biden, after denying that 13 American service members were lost in Afghanistan, (https://www.foxnews.com/category/world/conflicts/afghanistan) also said during the debate that "when he [Trump] was president, they were still killing people in Afghanistan. And he didn't do anything about that."
Darin Hoover, Gold Star father of Staff Sgt. Darin Taylor Hoover who was one of those 13 American service members killed in action on August 26, 2021, in Kabul, Afghanistan, had a strong reaction to Biden's debate claims.
The younger Hoover, 31, was engaged to be married when he was killed. It was his third tour in Afghanistan.

"I knew Afghanistan was going to come up sooner or later," said Hoover in an interview with Fox News Digital, recalling the debate.
"You know, the stumbling, bumbling buffoon that we have in the White House (https://www.foxnews.com/category/politics/executive/white-house) had the audacity to say that under his watch that no military members have died."
In a statement to Fox News Digital after the initial publication of this story, a White House spokesperson said, "President Biden cares deeply about our service members, their families, and the immense sacrifices they have made. That’s why the President attended the dignified transfer of the 13 brave service members who lost their lives in Afghanistan on August 26, 2021; as well as, of the three who lost their lives in Jordan earlier this year."
"As he said then and continues to believe now: Our country owes them a great deal of gratitude and a debt that we can never repay, and we will continue to honor their ultimate sacrifice," the spokesperson added.

The Gold Star dad added, "the rage, the absolute disgust that I got, from hearing him say that--I started yelling back at the TV. Just out of frustration. He's never acknowledged, not one time, any of our kids. He's never said their names. Even to this day, I doubt very seriously that he even knows their names."

Taylor's mother, Kelly Barnett, had this to say to Biden: "What I would say to them is shame on you using our children as a pawn. It just makes me sick."

"It's sickening, but it goes to the way that we've been treated the past three years. It's three years--we're going on three years now. And it's just disrespect after disrespect. This is probably the cherry on top."
Hoover said the Biden administration sent the 13 Afghanistan Gold Star families letters – a year later.
"All the 13 families get a canned letter. It said the same exact same thing. And it looked like it was a photocopy of all of that. It was basically, we're sorry that your service member had died, and that's been it. We've had absolutely nothing before, nothing since," Hoover added.

Hoover has made efforts to meet with Biden on behalf of the 13 lost on August 26, 2021. He said, "as much as we tried it in the past, when we've been going before Congress to try and get a meeting, it's been denied because he's a chicken."
" doesn't want to deal with us. He knows that we're in his face, but he doesn't want to deal with us," said Hoover.

I mean, I'm still voting for the decrepit corpse, but he did himself the opposite of any favors. Can't see hardly any swings, moderates, et cetera voting for him after how dead he looked. Democrats seem like they fucked themselves by not getting someone who can literally speak coherently. Hoping the issues are what people vote, but my wife is also on the fence and just found Biden laughably old and ugly. She hates Trump too but said at least he looks alive. It's a sad state, and again I'll still vote Biden because I just can't bring myself to vote for that felon racist lying whiner. But yeah, he looks old and about to die. No way he lasts 4 years.
A vote for Biden is a vote for his vice president

[[[The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) is calling for President Biden (https://www.foxnews.com/category/person/joe-biden) to step out of the presidential election after his debate debacle on Thursday night.
The AJC Editorial Board is publishing a front page editorial Sunday arguing that Biden should bow out of the election "for the good" of the country and to defeat former President Trump.
"The shade of retirement is now necessary for President Biden," the board wrote.
Biden, they argued, failed to convey a "competent and coherent vision for the future of America" at the first presidential debate in Atlanta on Thursday.]]]

New York Times editorial board calls for Biden to drop out: His candidacy is a 'reckless gamble'Calls continue to grow for Biden to withdraw his re-election bid following his 'disaster' debate performance

[[[The New York Times (https://www.foxnews.com/category/organization/the-new-york-times) editorial board is calling on President Biden to "leave the race" following his disastrous debate performance.
"President Biden has repeatedly and rightfully described the stakes in this November’s presidential election as nothing less than the future of American democracy," the editorial board began (https://www.nytimes.com/2024/06/28/opinion/biden-election-debate-trump.html) Friday.
"Mr. Biden has said that he is the candidate with the best chance of taking on this threat of tyranny and defeating it. His argument rests largely on the fact that he beat Mr. Trump in 2020. That is no longer a sufficient rationale for why Mr. Biden should be the Democratic nominee this year."

The Times offered a blunt assessment as to how voters perceived the president, declaring, "Biden is not the man he was four years ago."
"The president appeared on Thursday night as the shadow of a great public servant. He struggled to explain what he would accomplish in a second term. He struggled to respond to Mr. Trump’s provocations. He struggled to hold Mr. Trump accountable for his lies, his failures and his chilling plans. More than once, he struggled to make it to the end of a sentence," the editorial board told readers. "Mr. Biden has been an admirable president. Under his leadership, the nation has prospered and begun to address a range of long-term challenges, and the wounds ripped open by Mr. Trump have begun to heal. But the greatest public service Mr. Biden can now perform is to announce that he will not continue to run for re-election."
MEDIA FIGURES SHOCKED AT BIDEN'S 'BAD' DEBATE PERFORMANCE: ‘TOTAL AND COMPLETE DISASTER’ (https://www.foxnews.com/media/media-figures-shocked-bidens-bad-debate-performance-total-complete-disaster)
The editorial board went on to call Biden's candidacy a "reckless gamble" and that there are other Democrats "better equipped to present clear, compelling and energetic alternatives to a second Trump presidency."
"There is no reason for the party to risk the stability and security of the country by forcing voters to choose between Mr. Trump’s deficiencies and those of Mr. Biden. It’s too big a bet to simply hope Americans will overlook or discount Mr. Biden’s age and infirmity that they see with their own eyes," the editorial board continued.
"It should be remembered that Mr. Biden challenged Mr. Trump to this verbal duel (https://www.foxnews.com/media/biden-embracing-debates-because-losing-knows-trial-not-damaging-trump-pundits). He set the rules, and he insisted on a date months earlier than any previous general election debate. He understood that he needed to address longstanding public concerns about his mental acuity and that he needed to do so as soon as possible. The truth Mr. Biden needs to confront now is that he failed his own test," the editorial board wrote.

President Biden (https://www.foxnews.com/category/person/joe-biden) was reportedly humiliated by his debate performance on Thursday and was "devoid of confidence," according to reports.
"It's a mess," a person familiar with the president's mood after the debate told NBC News (https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/biden-family-path-forward-disastrous-debate-mess-rcna159591).
The outlet reported several prominent Democrats expressed concern in private over Biden's chances of beating Donald Trump in November following his debate performance. However, they remain steadfast in their support for Biden in public.
"The only person who has ultimate influence with him is the first lady," another person told the outlet. "If she decides there should be a change of course, there will be a change of course."

"Any discussion about the campaign is expected to be informal or an afterthought," the person close to the Biden family told NBC. "No one is sitting down for a formal or determinative discussion."

Biden addressed his debate performance (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-inner-circle-silent-party-reels-embarrassing-debate-performance) at a rally in North Carolina on Friday.
"I know I'm not a young man. I don't walk as easy as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to, but I know what I do know — I know how to tell the truth!" Biden told a crowd of supporters.

It is going to be interesting to see what is going to happen in the Democratic convention this year which is scheduled in August, 19 to 22. I don't see how they can replace Biden at this late time they should have done this a year ago when they had a legit chance. The biggest issue to watch for will be what the Far Left do with regards to the War in the Middle East and there Green Agenda issues during the convention. How violent will it get?

Vote for Kennedy or Stein, or don't vote. That's pretty much what inner Wayne county is doing this cycle, talking to people there.
The Muslims / Arabs hate Biden passionately and won't stomach voting for Trump, so a lot of them are just saying fuck voting this time around even after turning out heavy for Biden in 2020. The Caldeans are definitely favoring Trump
Actually Jill Stein the ex-Jew is the most pro Palestine candidate by far. Kennedy has come out for Israel.
I will vote for Biden specifically to vote against Trump. Voting third party or not voting only helps Trump.
This is not a matter of policy, or even mental fitness because I agree with the majority that Biden’s mental fitness is absolutely a concern. This is about aligning against a corrupt narcissist who is a misogynist, racist, and bigot and threatens democracy on several levels. In a more ideal scenario, neither Biden nor Trump are the choices. In the reality we’re in now, third party voting or sitting at home serve no purpose but to give that threat to democracy a better chance to win.

Until Biden falls BELOW 50% on PredictIt, I don't believe he's going to actually be replaced. Though, he has fallen from over 70% back down to 60% since yesterday. Harris is the next leading candidate and rightfully so, and finally Whitmer's name is in the pot when I suggested that days ago back when she was trading for under 1 cent to the dollar.
if you bet $850 (the max) on Whitmer after the debate you could end up making $79,942.50 (after accounting for principal and PredictIt fees) if she is chosen to replace Biden.

Some of President Biden's (https://www.foxnews.com/category/person/joe-biden) top officials are "scared s---less" of displeasing him in daily briefings, according to a new report.
The president's inner circle has become tighter and tighter as he has become more difficult to deal with in day-to-day business, according to a Tuesday report from Politico (https://www.politico.com/news/2024/07/02/biden-campaign-debate-inner-circle-00166160).
"It’s like, ‘You can’t include that, that will set him off,’ or ‘Put that in, he likes that,’" a senior administration official told Politico on background.
The quote continued, "It’s a Rorschach test, not a briefing. Because he is not a pleasant person to be around when he’s being briefed. It’s very difficult, and people are scared [s---less] of him."
The official told Politico that Biden is unwilling to take advice from outside his small inner circle, becoming increasingly isolated from wider public opinion (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/majority-voters-favor-biden-dropping-out-while-trumps-base-appears-more-solid-poll) and input.
"He doesn’t take advice from anyone other than those few top aides, and it becomes a perfect storm because he just gets more and more isolated from their efforts to control it," the official reportedly told Politico.
White House Senior Deputy Press Secretary Andre Bates pushed back on the Politico report's claim that staff are afraid of the president — telling Fox News Digital, "That’s simply not who [Biden] is."
Politico also reported that Biden's family members cast blame widely on Biden staffers, complaining that they did not adequately prepare the president to go on the attack more, to focus more on laying out his vision for the next four years rather than getting bogged down in defending his record, and that they allowed him to become overworked without enough rest beforehand.
The family's criticism was hurled specifically toward Anita Dunn, the senior adviser who frequently has the president’s ear; her husband, Bob Bauer, the president’s attorney who played Donald Trump in rehearsals at Camp David; and Ron Klain (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/dnc-insider-claim-biden-meeting-obama-democrat-strategist-following-debate-disaster), the former chief of staff who ran point on the debate prep and previous cycles’ sessions, Politico reported, citing three people briefed on the family conversations but not directly involved.
"The number of people who have access to the president has gotten smaller and smaller and smaller," an anonymous Democratic strategist in a battleground state reportedly complained to Politico, according to their Tuesday report. "They’ve been digging deeper into the bunker for months now."
Bates denied this characterization as well, claiming the president seeks input from a "wide range of individuals inside and outside the administration."
"These claims are unfair distortions of processes that exist in every administration," Bates told Fox News Digital. "In any presidency, there are individuals who would prefer to spend more time with the President and senior officials."
He added, "[Biden] is proud to have hired the most diverse White House team ever – and is achieving historic results for the American people because of his determination, values, and experience."
Biden and his campaign officials have denied any implication that the president is planning to step aside in his bid for re-election.

Sad or not, the party better do something to avoid being trounced in November. Moral platitudes can't veto stupid republican bills.
Not sure what they can do if they do roll with Joe.... which is what I 100% expect them to do.
Maybe just keep him from debating Trump any more and just continually have him remind the voters that he's a fucking felon.

There's no need really. Similar to the Dobbs decision in 2022, the Supreme Court just gave Democrats Christmas in July with that ruling yesterday. There are less people in the Trump University cult than there are non-cult people. The majority in this country aren't going to put Trump back in the White House with a Supreme Court majority that bends to his will. Barring some catastrophic economic collapse it's going to be the "red wave" all over again and Republicans will lose their 4th straight election cycle, probably the longest losing streak Republicans have suffered in the last century.

This is what MAGAtards don't understand. Andy did actually understood this after the 2020 beatdown, but somehow talked himself back into supporting Dennison because it was the only option in his party, as much as he tries to deny it, tbh

MEDIA (https://www.foxnews.com/category/media)Boston Globe editorial board calls for Biden to bow out of race following ‘historically bad’ debate
'For the good of the country, his party, and his legacy, Biden must do this. And soon,' The Boston Globe editorial board wrote

Another major city newspaper has called on President Biden to abandon his re-election bid following his highly criticized debate performance against former President Trump last week.
The Boston Globe editorial board published a (https://www.bostonglobe.com/2024/07/03/opinion/why-biden-should-step-aside/)column (https://www.bostonglobe.com/2024/07/03/opinion/why-biden-should-step-aside/) Wednesday arguing that at this point, Biden running for office is too big of a risk, and that he must step aside soon so that a more suitable Democratic candidate can be nominated.
"For the good of the country, his party, and his legacy, Biden must do this. And soon," it declared.

The Globe’s editorial began by slamming Biden’s team for not being able to "adequately" explain "why his performance was historically bad, beyond that he had a cold." It went on to reject his allies’ defense that keeping Biden is still the country's least risky move to beating Trump and that trying to select a new party nominee would be too risky.
"Maybe. But in the view of this board, and a growing number of other editorial pages and Democratic officials, the greater risk lies in allowing Biden to continue as the party’s standard-bearer," the board wrote. "Serious questions are now in play about his ability to complete the arduous work of being leader of the free world. Can he negotiate with a hostile Republican Congress, dangerous foreign powers, or even fractious rivals within his own Cabinet? The nation’s confidence has been shaken."
The Boston Globe editorial board’s column follows those of other editorial boards from major news outlets that criticized Biden’s debate performance and argued it’s time for him to leave the race.
The day after the debate, The New York Times editorial board (https://www.foxnews.com/media/new-york-times-editorial-board-calls-biden-drop-out-his-candidacy-reckless-gamble) called the president’s continued campaign a "reckless gamble," and declared that "the greatest public service Mr. Biden can now perform is to announce that he will not continue to run for re-election."
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution editorial board (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/atlanta-journal-constitution-editorial-board-calls-for-biden-to-drop-out-for-the-good-of-the-nation) advocated for an end to Biden’s campaign over the weekend, stating, "The shade of retirement is now necessary for President Biden."
The Boston Globe editorial mentioned that polls before the "disastrous debate" were already bad for Biden, and that now "the chances that he can win over wavering independent voters, much less hold onto loyal ones, are rapidly fading."

The board stated that the one "ray of hope" is for Biden to "graciously bow out" and "free his delegates" to be given to new candidates – "from Vice President Kamala Harris (https://www.foxnews.com/media/rep-clyburn-declares-support-kamala-harris-dem-nominee-biden-has-bow-out-i-support-her) to the governors of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and California, to name only a partial list."
After detailing the process of how a subsequent, short-term delegate race could work, the board stressed that Biden is the only thing standing in the way of the party’s success here and again, urged him to leave, advising the Democratic Party to get involved if necessary.
"He must walk away from the race on his own, something he seems disinclined to do. His wife and children are said to oppose the idea as well. But with the nation’s future at stake, this is not a decision that should be made by one family alone. This is a moment when the Democratic Party itself, never particularly good at behaving like a party, must step into the fray," the editorial stated.
It also mentioned the line that the party should use to convince the president to leave.
"If he leaves the race now, his party will hail him as a hero. If he stays in and loses, it will be a disaster for the country. Democrats could lose both houses of Congress, removing any check on Trump’s excesses and freeing him to appoint another right-wing justice to the most conservative Supreme Court in decades," they argued.

It also advised that if his team is still set on proving Biden’s fitness to run, "they would have him do multiple interviews with reporters who have been critical of him."
"They would have him do more campaign events that aren’t tightly controlled, without the help of a teleprompter. They would put him in public positions that demonstrate he can think on his feet."
The editorial concluded by encouraging prominent Democratic officials to speak up against Biden running again, declaring, "the time for silence has passed."

The reason they are pivoting to Kamala is because all of the financial side needs to be reconciled or else it'd be misappropriation of funds. Kamala is on the ticket and those funds can legally slide over to her campaign - if he bows out. If he doesn't, they're his to be used at his campaign's discretion. At least, that's the gist of what I've been hearing.
I won't vote for Kamala. She's garbage and a cop who went after low level weed offenders in California of all places. She's right wing masquerading as left, just like the majority of democrats, except she won't pull anyone from the middle or right and she's unpopular on the left as well for her word salad and staged photoshoot non-sense.
Also, I wouldn't vote for Bernie again, either, even in a general. I'd rather throw my vote away on a 3rd party candidate than vote for ANOTHER old decrepit windbag. Biden only barely makes the cut, and it's clear he's a corpse who might not even last til November. His voice and demeanor is clearly that of what he is: an old, far overworked man. He's steaming shit that only smells slightly less rank than someone like Kamala. Trump is beyond shit, he's the dumpster and he wants to bring the whole country into his dumpster fire.

The only problem is he only has one more debate scheduled with Trump. That debate is do or die for Biden that’s if he can hold it together until then

I honestly think that if they bring Kamala in if Biden likes really starts declining like forgetting his name and stuff Trump is gonna beat Kamala bad. At least with Biden they can play the whole grandpa thing again. Dems are stupid because it’s not like there is some super candidate out there who can just magically step in and go up against Trump at this point unless they can beg Michelle Obama to get in now lol

& if I were Trump I wouldn't get within 10 miles of him again...though the big mouth is offering Biden another debate ASAP. He already won the debate. There is nothing more to win there, only to lose if they pump Joe up with Vitamin B and naps.

Yeah I was shocked by that. Then I heard that he wanted it with no moderators. I think the cutting off mic thing actually helped Trump because it showed him as being controlled. But him debating Biden again with no moderator I think is probably a bad idea for Trump at this point. I guess he wants to go for the kill shot or something

I didn’t even want to watch the debate because I figured it was going to be bad. I wasn’t figuring it would be that terrible. I’ve just seen clips here and there. I saw the one about how he blundered on killing Medicare and Trump just looking at him with this puzzled look of almost concern wondering if he was going to have a stroke on the debate stage

Donald Trump (2017–2021)
Average YOY Inflation Rate: 1.9%
The average yearly inflation rate under President Donald Trump was 1.9%. Inflation remained low during Trump’s presidency.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, bringing a brief but severe recession along with it, the Trump administration declared a state of emergency and passed stimulus measures such as the $2 trillion Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act in an attempt to provide relief to individuals and businesses.
29
The economic policies followed by the Trump administration are now known as Trumponomics.
Joe Biden (2021–)
Average YOY Inflation Rate: 5.7%*
The average yearly inflation rate under President Joe Biden so far is 5.7%. Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act in 2021, a $1.9 trillion stimulus package to help the country recover from COVID-19. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic recovery and after the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022 caused gas prices to soar, inflation rose to record levels not seen since the 1980s.
30
31
32
Inflation peaked at 9.1% year-over-year in June 2022, the highest increase in 40 years.
33
The Fed responded by raising interest rates 11 times since March 2022 in an attempt to cool the stubborn inflation. While inflation did come down from its 2022 peak in 2023, it still remains above the Fed’s 2% target.
34
Biden's economic policies are now referred to as Bidenomics.
*The average yearly inflation rate for the Biden administration was calculated for the years 2021 to 2023, since Biden’s term is still ongoing.

Biden can continue his campaign to "MAKE CHINA GREAT AGAIN" by "selling his policies of Open Borders (where millions of people, including record numbers of Terrorists, are allowed to enter our Country, from prisons and mental institutions, totally unchecked and unvetted!), to Ending Social Security, Men playing in Women's sports, High Taxes, High Interest Rates, encouraging a Woke Military, Uncontrollable Inflation, Record Setting Crime, Only Electric Vehicles, Subservience to China and other Countries, Endless Wars, putting America Last, losing our Dollar Based Standard, and so much more."
If he is elected again
Of course if Trump had a debate like what Biden had they would want the 25 admenent to be used.
Some democracts are actually now talking about it.
But I guess they sure love Biden if they want to do that to him or try to beg on their hands and knees to drop off and get off the ballot before it is to late to have his name replaced on ballot. Some states could be to late already !

Some shit is goin' on. Somebody has found out something big is wrong with Biden.
Axelrod hit Joe mercilessly. Axe never, ever hits a D like this. Ever. This is big time shit.
pinion: Biden’s defiant delusion
Opinion by David Axelrod (https://www.cnn.com/profiles/david-axelrod), CNN
4 minute read
Updated 12:37 PM EDT, Sat July 6, 2024
Editor’s Note: David Axelrod, a CNN senior political commentator and host of “The Axe Files,” was a senior adviser to former President Barack Obama and chief strategist for the 2008 and 2012 Obama presidential campaigns.
CNN —
Early in the interview Friday, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked President Joe Biden if he had watched his disastrous June 27th debate with Donald Trump that has created an existential crisis for the Biden campaign.
The president paused and appeared to search his memory. “I don’t think I did. No,” he said quietly.
Biden could be excused for wanting to put his awful debate performance in the rear view mirror. That was his purpose Friday in sitting down for the interview — to try and quell the panic that has gripped the Democratic Party.
He didn’t succeed.
To be sure, the president turned in a more energetic performance than he had on that woeful debate night, when he sometimes appeared lost and incoherent. In the interview, he stoutly touted his record and assailed Trump’s character in a fashion his supporters had hoped he would on the debate stage.
But on the big question that now threatens his campaign — whether he still has the stamina and mental acuity to serve for four more years in the world’s toughest job — the 81-year-old president offered little reassurance beyond a proud recitation of his impressive first-term accomplishments.
What exactly happened to him at the most consequential debate of his political life? Biden offered multiple explanations (https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/abc-news-anchor-george-stephanopoulos-exclusive-interview-biden/story?id=111695695) — a bad cold; exhaustion; inappropriate prep. Finally, he shrugged. “I just had a bad night, I don’t know why.”
“And how quickly did it come to you that you were having a bad night?” Stephanopoulos asked.
“Well, it came to me I was having a bad night when I realized that even when I was answering a question, even though they turned his mic off, he was still shouting. And I let it distract me … I realized I wasn’t in control.”
That, in a nutshell, is the Republican attack. That an aged Biden is not in control, and that’s why his debate misfire was so devastating.
When Stephanopoulos asked the president if he would take an independent medical evaluation, complete with neurological and cognitive exams and release the results, Biden demurred and deflected.
“I take a cognitive test very day,” he said, pointing to the taxing duties of the presidency.
Maybe, but most Americans, having watched him lately, would grade him poorly on that score.
After the debate, the already robust number of Americans who deem the president too old to serve another term went up to 74% (https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/03/us/politics/poll-debate-biden-trump.html). Only 42% said the same about Trump, 78, whose own terrible debate performance was eclipsed by Biden’s meltdown.
Just as distressing was Biden’s stubborn denial of his public standing and position in a race that he has characterized as an existential battle for the survival of American democracy.
Three separate polls conducted by CNN, The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal after the debate all showed Biden trailing (https://www.wsj.com/politics/elections/trump-expands-lead-over-biden-after-debate-as-voters-age-worries-grow-wsj-poll-finds-c3a793ab) Trump by six points (https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/03/us/politics/poll-debate-biden-trump.html) nationwide (https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/02/politics/cnn-poll-post-debate/index.html). Previous polls have shown Biden trailing in nearly all the battleground states (https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/13/us/politics/biden-trump-battleground-poll.html) he narrowly won in 2020. And now a handful of other states he won — Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Mexico and Virginia — appear to be in play (https://www.wsj.com/politics/elections/battleground-map-shows-signs-of-expansion-for-trump-as-biden-struggles-77d19e67).
At this rate, Biden is likely headed for a landslide defeat to a lawless and unpopular former president.
But when Stephanopoulos confronted him with poll numbers showing him trailing and a job approval rating lower than any president who has ever won re-election, Biden would have none of it.
“I don’t … I don’t buy that. I don’t think anybody’s more qualified to be president or win this race than me,” he said.
Only “the Lord Almighty” could persuade him to give up the race, the president said, as a growing chorus of Democrats, fearful of an electoral disaster, call for him to step aside.
Denial. Delusion. Defiance.
When Stephanopoulos asked him how he would feel if he continues and Trump were to win in November, the president who has told us that this is the most consequential election of our lifetimes seemed unmoved by that prospect.
“I’ll feel, as long as I gave it my all, and did as good a job as I know I can do … that’s what this is about.”
No, sir. It’s not.
Sometimes the Lord Almighty comes in the form of enlightened self-awareness.
The stakes are as great as Biden describes. And if he believes it, as I think he does, he will eventually do what duty and love of country requires, and step aside.
If he does not, it will be Biden’s age, and not Trump’s moral and ethical void, that will dominate the rest of this most important campaign and sully the president’s historic legacy.]]]

Swing state Congressional Democrats held meeting and cried over Biden staying in race according to a report right before a Tuesday meeting with Democrats surrounding President Joe Biden's path forward in the upcoming 2024 election. A group of swing state district a swing District Democrats gathered in a solemn meeting where there were "actual tears" as Biden has not stopped his campaign and has vowed to run against Donald Trump in November

A few weeks ago I received a letter from President Joe Biden that distilled one of the key — and under-discussed — reasons that I believe he’s atserious risk of losing in November (https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/biden-poll-2024-trump-swing-state-rcna152046).To be clear, this was no personal missive. It was a fundraising pitch signed by Biden (https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/biden-trump-polls-swing-voters-2024-rcna157799) and sent out by his presidential campaign, presumably to people who might vote for Democrats in November. In this letter Biden laid out his case to voters for supporting his re-election bid. In paragraph after paragraph over the course of two pages, he sounded the alarms about former President Donald Trump. He warned of Trump’s campaign of revenge. He detailed the threats that Trump poses to democracy (https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/trump-project-2025-truth-social-rcna160774) and the rights and social services that Americans currently enjoy. He called for help in debunking “MAGA lies.”
Biden’s case against Trump was sound. But something was missing: Joe Biden’s case for himself. He allocated just one sentence at the bottom of the first page to discussing his legislative accomplishments. As for his future aims, buried on the second page were three bullet points explaining a handful of things he planned to do if he wins a second term: ban assault weapons; cap insulin costs; and increase taxes on billionaires. The rest of the note returned to talking about the fight against Trump and the importance of mobilizing for November.]]]

When Biden tanks, and he will, he will take many down ballot candidates with him. Democratic voters need to hold their democratic leadership accountable for this debacle.
