Kelly has talent and has at times really stepped it up for teams who need someone to fill it up. Sort of like Drew Gooden. But if you look at his stats, they don't paint the picture of a good player. Like Tobias Harris was a far better player last year. If McDonald is right about the Spurs wanting to save 2025 cap space, then they might be able to get Oubre to agree to a one-year deal at an inflated salary more than Harris, because Harris should have a high expected salary anyway.
