Should be an entertaining team, IMO.

Interesting to hear that Cissoko lost 20lbs since the end of the season. Felt like that was one of his assets- that he moved on court like a city bus.

Wonder if he is trying to slide down into SG more permanently or something. Sidy will definitely benefit from moving more swiftly, though. I have Sidy on my radar as an up and coming with his savvy passing and high BBIQ.

it will be shocking if they don't demolish everyone by 20+

Holy shit just saw in the article DJ Horne joined SAS summer league.

Man, that dude was pretty amazing in NC State's NCAA Tournament run. Glad to have him on and excited to see him play.

Doubt it. Hornets are sending Brandon Miller to SL

Riley Minix is like if Ryan Anderson had a more varied scoring game with more toughness

1. Not since the days of Coach Becky Hammon have the Spurs cared at all about winning Summer League games.

2. The Spurs have been losing in the Summer League the last few years with rosters way more talented than this.

3. Once they've seen what they need to see from Castle, they'll probably shut him down (or at least dial him back).

But despite all that, I hope you're right.

I’m absolutely bored by the concept of summer league. The NBA markets it as something real, but it’s really just a blend of open gym and loose scrimmaging, and a pretty terrible product. If they held it anywhere but Vegas, no one would go. It’s a league/media social see and be seen thing.

It's my favorite time of the year. So many good young players for the Spurs played summer league. Basically everyone but Manu, IIRC.

Don't watch.

I have no intention of doing so. Enjoy the sub-gleague games.
