On Monday I was flying from Frankfurt to Riga and who was on my plane but our ole nemesis Zaza Pachulia. He and his beautiful wife and very tall kids were a couple of rows ahead of me.


As a diehard Spurs fan, I was torn. There was the man, who in 2017 derailed our chance to take down the Warriors and get another chip. Old Spurs wounds seethed inside me...:ihit

But, on the other hand, I can no longer defend Kawhi in anyway. Not at all. So, I let bygones be bygones. I did, however, snap a picture at the baggage claim and then went over said hello and shook his hand. He was nice, but I avoided bringing up the old wounds in our brief conversation. He's retired now and I think here doing some scouting or coaching in the Baltics but I didn't ask. IF you'd told me in 2018 that I'd rather talk to Zaza than Kawhi, I would never have believed it.

I was surprised he wasn't THAT MUCH taller than me. (I'm 6'4" and somehow he wasn't too much bigger.) He might have kicked my ass, probably would have.:frying:
