The following did the work. I'm just posting for one stop shopping and not have to sift thru other thread.

Full basketball schedule for those interested: https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/schedule/basketball/men?day=26-july (https://olympics.com/en/paris-2024/schedule/basketball/men?day=26-july)

A lot of games will be on available over cable channels, and apparent Fubo is offering streaming options (it's not cheap, but there is a 30 day trial)

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/olympics/2024/07/24/men-basketball-olympic-broadcast-streaming-schedule/74328013007/ (https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/olympics/2024/07/24/men-basketball-olympic-broadcast-streaming-schedule/74328013007/)

On France Télévision, everything should be free, but I am not yet sure of the system put in place. If it's like the French Open, they have a multitude of streams depending on the events. I believe that the principle of the Olympics is that it is broadcast on public channels or national free channels.

(VPN if you are not in France.)

edit: OK, no, Eurosport. So all games through pirate stream sites… The Olympics spirit.

Hate the commercialism behind this business event, however sooner or later we should get some good viewing matchups.

Keep those free viewing sites coming, nicely done.

I mean if you are so destitute you can't afford $8 for a month of Peacock to have access to basically every single event (payable through PayPal so a VPN might work), you can sign up for a free 2-week trial of Instacart+ where Peacock is a benefit and use it for that period.

For TV in the US France is playing on CNBC Saturday 10:15AM CDT and the US on NBC Sunday 10:15AM CDT.

Or if you're so disgusted by the commercialism and greed you don't want to contribute out of principle.

Dex and Limg already posted some ideas if you're one that does not want to suck the corporate cock.

If you want to pay, no one is stopping you Chumpy.

Or the NBA.

Or the NCAA.

Etc.

For those of you with DirecTV Stream, they've put up a bunch of extra Olympic channels where you can watch/record games that aren't on the normal broadcast or cable channels.

TV other then "Peacock" / streaming it seems the media is doing a very shitty job of publicizing when these games can be seen on regular tube.
Update: Fans in the United States can watch the game on NBC

Any chance any French networks will be broadcasting France vs Canada tomorrow online so I could just use a proxy in France to be able to access it?

France 3 broadcasts all FNT games, sometimes switching on France 2 or on the Internet channel (link in the first post of the thread).

France/Canada was on one of the dedicated Olympic channels on DirecTV Stream but didn't start coverage until the 2nd quarter so I had to watch that on Peacock. It should be relatively clear sailing from here but you never know. Somehow I don't think they are using live directors for commercial breaks on a lot of these broadcasts because their timing makes no practical sense, even from a revenue maximizing POV.

why are no medal ceremonies being shown for any event........after every gold medal game it cuts to the next sporting event without showing the podium ceremonies.......
