- Mark Zuckerberg did not draft this on his own.
- He sits atop one of the largest companies in the world
- He consulted with legal, PR and other members before carefully crafting the letter out.
- He may or may not fully endorse everything said.
- From a corporate standpoint, this was calculated as the best move for $META. Nothing more, nothing less.
- When the winds were blowing in favor of President Biden, $META was only to happy to censor.
- X is gaining more traction and the political winds shifting towards Trump and Republicans.

This was the right letter to draft from a business standpoint. That's it, that's all. Nothing else is calculated.

The scrutiny needed to come from a board of virologists, epidemiologists, emergency care docs, primary care docs, vaccine specialists, public health administrators that dealt with the actual logistics of the pandemic, etc with a focus on improving performance. People that have the expertise to provide productive argument and solutions. The problem with the "scrutiny" we got, is that it came from congresspeople that were merely looking to make a name for themselves. A bunch of idiot narcissists looking to benefit themselves rather than look at this as a failed team effort. That's just wasted time and taxpayer money all in the name of self-promotion.

As far as punishment....for what? Trying his best to contain a novel virus? If your argument is he had criminal intent, prove it. It should be easy. There would have been whistleblowers, there would be money trails, there would be virological evidence. You can't cover something of this magnitude up, to believe otherwise, is childish. You don't punish a fireman for failing to save a burning building. You hope for damage control.

Yes, I experienced this from the healthcare side of things. The sheer stupidity of it all has been exhausting. I went from, maybe monthly, dealing with an anti-vaxxer mom that was certain vaccines were causing autism to seemingly every other patient being certain that the youtube video they had just watched had more accurate information than the medical professionals. No amount of teaching could sway most of these people, especially after it became political.

I had hopes that with time, clarity would seep in, but as my Uncle once told me when I was young, "there's no cure for stupid." It's not the worst thing to be incorrect, especially in the midst of a crisis, but to double and triple down the way the survivors have..........incomprehensible.
