yeah i mean i had no delusions of him being back to his dallas and early sacto form, but im not sure how useful this version of him is at all. yes he's a phenomenal leader and locker room type by all accounts, but i thought he'd at least be a viable starter. early returns are worrisome, but its still ostensibly rust and preseason disinterest

story of the day has really just been the turnovers. 15 for us, 3 for miami. several unforced fumbles in or around the paint, especially by sochan, who somehow only got credited with one turnover (i think they attributed those to Paul for the pass even though sochan failed to corral them). miami is a great defensive team so issues were expected, but at least 5-6 of the turnovers seem completely unforced

yeah miami has 59 points but a chunk of that has been in transition following turnovers. other than a couple of possessions where wemby was jumping around for no good reason, the halfcourt defense has been fine.
